I read that Chilla's art consisted of 2 brothers who base their games off myths/legends/stories from Japan. I heard that this game in particular is supposedly based on a haunted store in East Japan. After the 2011 Earthquake/Tsunami, a convenience store was built in the area. People said that they felt sluggish, weighed down, and couldn't breathe. The owner struggled to get employees to stay working there because everyone would quit after experiencing something. I saw the information about the store on another video for this game where the person was saying that the reason you can't find the real store is most likely because the Japanese articles about it haven't been translated. I looked it up years ago (when I first heard about this story) to try and do my own research, and I could've sworn that I found out a little more about this store. But I think I'm remembering wrong as I can't find anything now. But I guess the only way to know for sure if this is really based on this convenience store is messaging the brothers directly.
