I’m actually in the process of waiting for a decision on my interviews I completed for Uber this year for a SWE internship. I’ve never been more nervous to have to wait 5-6 weeks except for maybe during the actual interview itself. I was a part of a program called Uber Career Prep so I studied a lot over around 8 months to prepare for my interviews as a freshman with no DSA experience, but I did it and I did really well in my interviews too, so I can’t wait to know if I got the offer or not. I feel really calmed strangely by watching this though. Feel very understood lol.

Hey! For the phone interview it was half behavioral chitchat and half technical. I interviewed for an intern position so probably got a water downed question because of that, but mine was leetcode easy and interviewer was super chill.

Congrats... it's nice to meet a kindred spirit who also didnt grind leetcode for months before applying, lol. I loved your video and it made me feel a little better... I have my Microsoft internship interview final round on Tuesday and am super nervous. thank you for all the advice and sharing your story with MS!

@@keziakandii I paid attention in my data structures class. That was its own fair share of work. For what it's worth, I did not get the job at microsoft, but I was accepted at Amazon for a summer internship and will be returning there fulltime.

Congrats! What tablet, stylus and software did you use for the 'whiteboarding' portion, and could you share your work with your interviewer?

The website they used was specifically designed for that (I don’t remember the name). They send you a link right before the interview and you’ll be able to sync your screen doodles with the interviewer. I didn’t prepare any specific tablet or stylus, only doodled when necessary as my drawing is horrendous.

I am not sure whether my resume will be accepted by big companies for internship or not .But I have to start my preparation anyway. Can you please recommend, which book or website I should start first to brush up DSA concepts before solving codes on leetcode.

NeetCode 100% watch their videos if you can’t solve a question after 30-45 minutes. Also best to do a systematic approach where you master one topic at a time, i.e. do lots of array questions and then move on to two pointer and so on.

Neither, it’s for the Garage Program, which many people say is the in-between of these two.
