I'm on the opposite end of it with my siblings, I often don't want to talk since I can't communicate well (because of dyslexia, anxiety, and 3/100% extroverted according to mbti maybe your sibling could be similar) and our interests are very different. i find it pretty annoying when my siblings try to start a conversation, I suggest giving your sibling some space.

My sister and I are six years gap and she grew up together with our grandparents and I grew up with our parents. Now that she lived with us we couldn't get along nicely because we have different interests and when i act funny or silly she would say that im crazy and i should stop when all i want is to make our relationship as a sibling fun and open with each other. She's 21 and I'm 15 so maybe that's why we couldn't get along even if I want to. She's too serious at everything and I'm the funny sibling.
