Just some tips to make your new fishy comfortable, pleaseeeee buy an air filter for him and regularly change about 25% of the water (every week or so) to make sure the bad bacteria doesn’t build up as he will be swimming in his poop remember, tap water is okay but maybe try using some pond water as the chemicals in tap water aren’t the best for fish x

please, PLEASE get some kind of hideout for the fish and replace the plastic plants with silk or real plants bc plastic plants can and probably will tear his fins.

Advice I'd give to u for a betta: •dont feed it much they'll waste it or get fat :/ •if u get another 1 get a separate bowl cuz they feisty af •they might open they're gills at u cuz they scared, feisty, or hungry •DONT PHYSICALLY TOUCH THEM THEY WILL GET SUPER SICK!! •they're tanks get dirty kinda quickly cuz of the food u give em cuz they eat rlly slow and it falls to the bottom •you can teach them tricks its frkn cute I swear (that'd be a great video idea btw) they're rlly easy to take care of if ur a beginner at taking care of fish, great choice!

Tips for his care: I would recommend to upgrade his tank to at least a 3 gallon or 2.5 gallon so he is more happy Get real plants so it they don’t cut him Get a little cave so he could hide or sleep there I’m not sure if you have a heater but if you don’t you should get one :)

Tips for beta fish: Jazzy you should get a small filter to help clean the water and it can give him air bubbles (my beta fish got more happy when I got him one). Also you should rearrange his home a last ones a month to keep him active. Beta fish likes to explore so the stuff around him is important too bc he can see the different shapes, color and it can give him entertainment. Also you should look at him and talk to him from time to time, so he can get used to seeing you and hearing you. Last one, went your beta is swimming a lot its happy:) That's all I have to say. I know your probably nit going to see this, but here are some tips you can do to improve your care: - Get a filter, this helps clean the water making it less dirty - Get a heater, it doesn’t need to be that hot, but betta fish are tropical fish which means they like warm waters - Get a betta safe conditioner for the water, this makes the water safer for the fish to swim in - Make sure the tank is 5 gallons or larger, the bigger the tank the better - Get real or silk plants instead of plastic plants, the sharp edges on the plastic plants can cut his fins - Add a little cave or something so the betta can hide in it and feel safe - Try and make the tank look natural, so it’s kind of like the betta is in his natural environment Hope this helped!

Ok, I literally love u soooo much, but here’s some advice: You need get a tank 5 gallons or more, a filter, a heater, and I would recommend getting API Quick Start, you can just get this at any pet store, and add that and water conditioner and the tank will be safe! Hope I could help!!

Betta fish need at least 2.5 gallons in a tank and at least 1 hide that they can fit in, plus the plants you got. He also probably freaked out in that one part in ur room because you shook him. You also shouldn't have sealed that bag all the way cause that cuts of his oxygen supply, you also could've just acclimated him in his cup. Also did you buy him food? I recommend the tetra betta floating minu pellets. I feed my betta fish, Teddy, that twice a day everyday, 3 pellets per meal and hes healthy and happy. But other than all that, good job lol.
