6:29 LOL, not a cell phone tower. It's a microwave relay tower. It's probably transmitting a lot of cell phone calls, but it's not part of the cellular network. So your phone can't connect to it. Cell phone towers have more and smaller antennas on them.

I can’t list all the new things I learn from watching your vids. I watch them mainly for general interest in hiking, and motivation, but it’s fun picking up new things too. E.g., the difference between a microwave tower and others, dates & pnut butter!, dealing with poison ivy, to name a few.

I have the Z-packs 30 degree quilt at 11.8 ounces and that thing is great and as a bonus it stuffs into a bag smaller in diameter than a Nalgene bottle but a little longer. Stay safe.

Good sleep is super important! Peanut butter dates are halfway to a snickers. Apparently if you add a pecan and some chocolate it’s flavourtown snickers. 😇🍻

Kelly you mentioned in you gear shake down video how you trained yourself to sleep on you Nemo pad to where it was acceptable to you. I keep trying to make my Nemo work but i keep going back to the inflatables. However I do have about thirty + years on you, my ship might have sailed on closed cell foam.

You are the only other one in my life of 72 years that put peanut butter on dates other than my mom when I was a child. My mom also sprinkled powered sugar on them also. Stay well and have fun.
