So, I know this comment is super late, but he’s so cute! Just beware when they have rope toys. They tend to bite and chew on them and swallow the strings/or leave remnants all over your floor. Best to only give them those under supervision. Mine prefers rope toys and any soft toy that squeaks. She doesn’t like anything too big like Kong toys. Dry food wise, we use Science Hill. Recommended by vets, and healthier than Iams. And lastly, if you’re not aware, they are not recognized by the AKC as a mini Aussie. They are in a specific class, the Mini American Shepherd, along with the toy breeds. But good luck! They’re amazing dogs and super high energy, it’s crazy.

Thank you so much! He is so sweet. I have noticed the rope toys can leave remnants on the floor as well. Those tend not to be his favorite, but like yours he also loves soft toys that squeak 😊 Food wise I have learned so so much since filming this. We also have used science hill and he liked that better! And thanks for letting me know their specific class- I didn’t know that before. Definitely amazing dogs to have- thanks for the tips!

We just got a huge bed too even though our puppy is still mini (well mini for a Dalmatian hehe) Lemme know if he likes to play with the Kong. Ours couldn’t care less.

Awh I love Dalmatians! So cute 🥰 our puppy really doesn’t care much for his kong either unless there’s peanut butter inside lol

@@KirstenNicole haha I knew it! I told the guy at the pet store kong doesnt really work for me and he was like "it works for everybody" lol. Maui doesnt really care about peanut butter so only if I put cheese inside he gets somehow interested

I know this comment is late but he is so adorable!!!Happy to be able to find your channel!! I myself an trying to look for an Australian Shepard but had very little luck with finding the one! A lot of dog scales have been going around making it more complicated! But I was wondering if you know a trusted breeder that had Australian Shepards that would be very helpful!!😁

Hi Emma!! Thank you so much! I am so happy you enjoyed the video ☺️ unfortunately, I do not know of a breeder at the moment for Australian Shepherds 😔 the trusted breeder we went through was amazing but are no longer having more puppies. So sorry I could not help more!

when my Aussie was a puppy I feed him blue buffalo Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula for Puppy Chicken & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food. It's not cheap but it is not really expensive. If you have the time/money I would recommend trying a raw or fresh diet. (my Aussie is on a fresh diet.)

@emily That is so exciting! We have given our pup the Hills Science diet and Taste of the Wild High Prairie puppy formulas and he seems to like those. Both are a little more on the pricey side though

Hi Makayla! We found him through our friend’s family, but I have heard of people using Facebook groups (and then verifying the breeder’s registration). I hope this helps- I can ask around and let you know if I hear of any apps ☺️

@@kaylagarcia7158 Lindsey's Australian shepherds in Lawton Oklahoma is where I have box for, no wait, five mini or toy Australian Shepherds. She has oodles and oodles of dogs

The creator already responded, but I wanted to add on just saying if you are looking into getting one make sure to do proper research. They have a history of being herding dogs, so they are LOTS of work and VERY energetic. A lot of people get them because they’re pretty but them give them away because they are hard to take care of. Please google "worst dog food brand" There is alway IAMS as one of the worst. "Vet recommended" does not mean anything.
