5 жыл бұрынHi Guys! So welcome to this 595 Competizione which has joined the garage!
I won't be the only one using the 595 as I managed to work a way of sharing this with the family as I don't need it all the time and I'm not the only one to take the dog for a walk!
It's been around for about a week or so now but I've only just managed to finish editing this video! I really hope you guys like the car!
I'll also use this car to reduce the mileage I do on the Mini JCW, and it will be used to take the dog out, as I do NOT let the dog in my car anymore (after he scratched it...).

These are like the Alfa Selespeed. When you get used to the car, you can force it to change when you want it to change using throttle inputs. But they're best experienced in manual mode unless in traffic.

It's an Automatic/Manual. That's what A/M means. Manual paddle shift.

Loved my 595 Abarth series four, but had the chance to get an Abarth Punto & jumped at the chance as you don’t see many around.

Michael Noble oh sure - actually I recently went to AutoItalia and saw a few Abarth Punto’s which looked good fun! Well I’m going to be doing a proper review of the 595 soon so be great if you can subscribe and let me know what you think !

I'm really considering this for a daily driver. I love my Bravo tjet and I feel this is an upgrade

Okay - well I think the bravo is a little bigger than the 595 so if you’re looking to upgrade on performance then the Abarth would be good! I’d go for the 180bhp Competizione ☺️

@@LifeInMotionuk Thank you for answering. To be honest i'm watching the new 595 esseesse. For pratical reasons I want auto gearbox but it seems is not the wisest choice.

I have a 2019 Z4 M40i Auto - but due to fuel costs and everything else - thinking of the 595 auto - Any Good ?

I’d say the Z4 auto will be much more responsive than the Abarth so best get yourself a test drive in a 595 Auto first! It’s not an auto like you’d expect. It’s an automated manual box so very different ☺️

Hi Igor - I have made another video on my page about this cars gearbox! Take a look as I think it will help answer this question…in short, I wouldn’t advise going for the automatic

does the gear change in automatic really kicks bad when you drive it normaly? imma get a 595 soon so i'd like if it's correct or if i'd have to go for a manual gearbox. Thanks :)

Tupapa'u honestly it’s more the lag that is frustrating! I would go for the manual as it’s much more enjoyable to drive fast!

Does the gearbox always have a mind of it’s own or can it be smooth in comfort mode ?

Munir Shafi honestly the best way to drive it is in semi-automatic - it just seems to change at the weirds times!

Congrats! Here in the US the automatic is a Asin six speed HD, probably better. Although You get the bigger uconnect screen, and I believe with apple car play and Android auto.

A fun clip, but no mention of the paddle shifts? You can change up and down when 'you' want to. Kind regards Pete

The paddles, when in sport mode, do make the diving experience much better!

It depends on what you’re used to but it’s quite a bouncy ride! The JCW is more comfy for the day to day - recommend a test drive!

There’s a lot better ones out there - it’s better in sport mode but still slow to change, I would probably go for the manual !

I’ve got a Comp a manual one I did have a drive in the auto version which is essentially a manual gearbox with electric operated hydraulic actuators to manually change the gears Yeas it works it’s a very complicated system with lots to go wrong The problem I found with this system it’s great if you want to drive round like a complete twat driving it like a F1 car but when you drive it slowly it at a reasonable pace in traffic say the system would stay in a low gear to long and hang in there wheee as if you were in a manual you would have shifted up I had the same gearbox in a Fiat Qubo but that had an economy setting so it would shift up early The comp just auto or manual So I wasn’t impressed Over complicated Stick with the manual

Sorry but this guy doesn’t know how to drive & when you use the paddle shifts it’s a totally different experience & this little weapon lights up!

Damn, this guy know nothing about cars, the way he drives.. no wonder you says the gearbox cant keep u, if you go from zero throttle to full in every 3 seconds,
