Hi. Hope you are doing well Joey. The relics really aren't supposed to be sold for profit, but a lot of people don't know that and when a priest family member passes away they sell them. Yes, Pray for us Saint Rita.

I find it fascinating that since her death in 1457, she is in a casket in a church, and her body isn't decomposing? Am I understanding that correctly? I think she is one of my favorites now. I am so happy she's with you now 💞 Not to change the subject, but how do you dry your flowers?

It is very interesting how she did not have a corruptible body. I leave the flowers out on my counter and they dry on their own believe it or not.

@FuturesPast1 I find all this information on Saints very interesting. Thanks for the info, I've been thinking about making a leaves and flower type journal, something to occupy my brain I guess lol

@@sherri2594 It is so much fun to do that. Drying and pressing Flowers into books and journals is a really nice way to be creative.

@FuturesPast1 I definitely need a distraction, it would be fun to do it. I looked into it the other day, one method I found interesting was using wax in them..probably not the best choice for putting into a journal.

@@sherri2594 That is interesting. I have never heard of wax in the journals, but now you got me interested in looking this up. May be something I would like to take a swing at doing too.
