Sorry if this is a stupid question but what's the difference between covert 2 and agility 2. covert 2 says you won't be seen in listening mode if crouching. agility 2 says it is nearly impossible for you to be heard when moving. does this mean covert 2 make me invisible to listening mode while crouching but still heard by actual in-game audio while agility 2 makes me nearly impossible to hear with the actual in-game audio but can still be seen in listening mode or something else? I can't tell

You got it right. Agility stops stuff like grunting when you drop off or climb a high place. But you are still visible in listen mode. With covert, you will still grunt and stuff, but when crouch walking you will not be visible in listen mode.
