7:12 they only eat hay on days when they’re forced to stay in the barn because it is a rainy day they’re gonna eat also you have to make sure you have High food in winter if you want them to be producing or if they have not consumed grass

@alexsiemers7898 On the SV wiki, under the "Experience Points" tab on the Farming page, it says; "Petting a farm animal, milking a cow or goat, shearing a sheep, or picking up an animal product inside a coop gives 5 experience points each." Also, if you play with a mod that shows when you gain xp (like Ui info suite) you can see the xp when you pick up an egg. The steam post he read was written in 2016, and the person writing that response obviously didn't know. It's honestly googles' fault that that post is displayed first and allowed to spread misinformation. ☹️ The important thing to remember here is to always check your sources! 🧐 A steam post from 8 years ago isn't a very good source because there isn't anyone who's checking if the information they give out is correct. The heavily moderated Sv wiki is a much more trustworthy source since it gets updated every time new information about the game is brought to light.
