40 now, and everything is paid for. Fortunately, I had a college economics teacher who taught me a lesson when I was 18 years old. That lesson was: you can't buy something else for every purchase you make. Having multiple sources of income is prudent, as is living within your means. I have a 13-year-old vehicle because it is all I need, I like it, and I can do whatever I want with it. My net worth is $4 million, and I can pay my bills without stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.

I fully agree; I'm 56 years old and recently retired with approximately 1.2 million in outside retirement funds, no debt, and very few dollars in retirement funds in comparison to my portfolio balance over the last three years. To be honest, the financial advisor's role can only be ignored, not dismissed. Therefore do your research to get a reputable one and that should be any individuals main route into the market.

I've shuffled through investment coaches and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. For me, '' Pamela Kay Regel'' turned out to be better and smarter than all the advisors I ever worked with till date, I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.

Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look

What a wonderful message, especially the speech from the lectern at 5:34. As I listened to it, I realized that I made all the wrong choices in my life. Every single one. Will inertia be your guide or will you follow your passions - I chose inertia Will you follow dogma or will you be original - I didn't always follow dogma, but wasn't necessarily original either. Will you choose a life of ease or a life of service and adventure- I chose ease. Will you wilt under criticism or will you follow your convictions - More often than not , I wilted under criticism Will you bluff it out when you're wrong or will you apologize. - I rarely apologized. Will you guard your heart against rejected or will you act when you fall in love - I was mostly guarded, never open. Will you play it safe, or will you be swashbuckling - I played it safe When it's tough will you give up or will you be relentless - More often than not I gave up. Will you be a cynic or will you be a builder - I was a cynic. Will you be clever at the expense of others or will you be kind - Foolishly I tried to be clever and not humble. My life is a reflection of those choices. I know now that it takes conscious effort to expose yourself to positivity, especially if all you were exposed to during your formative years was negativity and criticism, it becomes your default. Negativity becomes your comfort zone with a facade of normalcy on the outside. His message is profound, Mr. Bezos is a life well lived.
