I’m so sorry this happened to you! I experienced 3 robberies within 2 years plus a car robbery as a child and as a grown adult I still have serve trauma and ptsd from it so I can only imagine what you are experiencing especially emotionally. I hope you are going to heal as seamlessly as possible and may those horrific thieves be caught!

Once a friend of mine told me that she was robbed (in the NL) and two months later it happened again. She said that later on police told her that it had happened because the thieves knew that she replaced many items (like laptops etc) as it’s a normal way of replenishing of what is gone. Be careful and stay strong!

I'm sorry this happened to you. My house also has been robbed before, and I know how it feels, and sometimes it feels like I'm not safe in my own home. You've had a lot of expensive items, but the priority is that you are and your family is safe. Things can be replaced, so everything will be alright.

When you own beautiful things home security is a must, you never know who is keeping an eye on you, and your comings and goings. There are so many good home security systems that are affordable.

Over the Christmas holidays, our motorbike got stolen from our gated apartment compound. For us this really changed how safe we felt in our own home. Because we didn’t know who had access to anything anymore. It’s scary and that wasn’t even 1/2 as bad as having your home robbed. It’s so crazy. I only feel safe because it’s an apartment where nobody can know which apartment you live. It makes me cautious about even buying a house! And we even have had to find spaces where we could hide sentimental and expensive things. It’s so so scary so my heart goes out to you honestly. It’s really disgusting.

I love your courage! We had an armed robbery in our home in 2017 and my children were there It was an awful experience and nobody was hurt. I know exactly how you feel because the police told me that we had been watched and targeted. This happened before I did KZfaq so luckily for me they were on the hunt for jewellery and not handbags so they left after taking my engagement and wedding rings. It is difficult to rebuild because in the back of your mind you will be worried that it can happen again but trust me, with time you will be more confident and as long as you are insured you know that you can replace things even though I know that sentimental things can’t be replaced. I wish you and your family well ❤

I am so sorry, what a terrible feeling. God will use this to make you stronger. I have always been paranoid about security but once you have done what you can there is nothing more to do. Continue to be careful because many times these people come back after being successful the first time. Definitely a security alarm, closing all doors, having trusted neighbors watch when you are not home, etc.

I got robbed when I lived in London, is a pain, to think someone touched all your stuff ...then I sold my flat I felt weird there I felt insecure and my parent's wedding rings were gone was priceless as they passed away. This was many years ago, I know London is much worse now. Saluti dall'Italia.

I wouldn’t be surprise if this was someone you know. Maybe not a close friend but someone who befriended you. I hope you heal from this. The psychological robbery is the worst.

It’s not easy. I lived in a Lux condo in Hawaii. My fiancé lost all her jewelry and mother’s jewelry in my apartment when the condo manager let unknown person into my place without notifying me. This manager avoided speaking with me… Police came into unit took finger prints and nothing came out of all this.

I refuse to live in a secured prison, cameras everywhere, gated communities.... I love fashion and I can find nice things without going luxury....

This is terrible to have such valuables stolen. I have made it a practice to hide my laptops, notebooks if I’m to leave the house for a day. My gf has a hidden closet behind a bookcase on rollers where she stacked her valuables. Her house was broken into when she left for a weekend and they did not find those items. Well worth the expense to install that. I hope for the best in your recoveries of items and emotions

If you didnt showed any clue at all on social media about Where your house Could be and been very carefull about It., I guess there is someone in your « circle friends » who could be responsable for It or knows things about It and recieved in exchange some $ for the Infos they gave about you and all your designer stuff and you home location.

I hope insurance can at least help. Home invasions go beyond the material; it completely shatters your sense of security. I know you're an influencer but perhaps the videos advising what you're replacing is not ideal given that it may make you a target. I would first take the time to shore up the security and design a storage system or approach where your luxury items are not stored in your closet like before. Now that there has been a home invasion, your valuables aren't as safe there going forward. Wish you the best and highly recommend speaking to a counselor to help you process the situation as needed.

Obviously it’s from social media , look at what happened to Kim K and the real housewives. They target people like you who are living in their little bubble until something like this happens and snaps you into the real world 🌎 . Be glad that you weren’t home , or your loved ones. you have your job and your health and a life to look forward to.
