I live in Montreal, Some one just tried to scam me using the same serial number, and As mentioned in this video, they don't have Pinhole, Thanks man for the info. Another key thing is They mentioned they got it as a gift so they don't have to show the original receipt.

Does the top of the box say AirPods Max or just Max?

Both sides don't connect via bluetooth at all. lol. They connect via metal connectors in the arms, hence the sim ejector tool (pin hole) that you are missing to get to the connector. This is also how the other side is charged.

Well, I think they change the name, because I can’t find them on EBay. But the name of the seller was (bidbeyondbasic).

I got scammed for the same ones but on marketplace the settings match up and everything but they won’t update so I took it to apple and boom they fake smh paid $300 used. They sound pretty good but transparency mode not up to par. Mines even got a pin holes lol

There must be a wire connecting the two sides, because otherwise how does the other one charge? you only charge one side?

Yes there are wire conductors within the frame of the headset and they make electrical connection thru the metal ends that press into the earpieces.

I got tricked also, they’re some good looking fakes. Try the charging cord, you’ll see it doesn’t fit the headphones too smh. Apple told me serial number was flagged in June, I opened the plastic off the box in November smh. Electronically it still works pretty similarly to the real ones though. I just hope they don’t die out on me soon.

Is it just me or did his video end abruptly? Anyways, I’ve been looking for authentic Apple AirPods Max for a long time and still haven’t found a single legitimate pair to buy. I’ve busted many of them when they show pics of the ear cups or the back of the box with incorrect copyright date. It’s truly sad our society has become a version of GTA where everyone is out to steal your money.

I got scammed twice on ebay but the first one gave me a refund without even wanting me to ship them back and the second one I got refunded through ebay. I'll only buy online with a money back guarantee. Never meet up with someone in person.

Paying “a little more” is usually double the regular asking price for so called “AirPods Max”. Just send us “a little more” money and I’ll happily buy legitimate AirPods Max.
