3 жыл бұрынIn this video I go over how to fit the Bluespark Tuning Box and give you my driving impressions. This video may also be handy if you're looking at accessing the sensors on your 124 Spider or nd MX5; it's pretty inaccessible but we got there in the end!

Fitted one of these to mine and set it to the max. Like you noticed some increase. Blue spark told me at the time if ran it on 99 RON petrol you should see 320nm torque and 196bhp. As mine is under warranty, removing and reattaching was a real pain (literally on the back of my hands) as have thin wrists and smallish hands so fitted and removed this after each service at the dealership. Didn’t get a dyno done. Also ran it with a DTUK pedal box which with the blue spark makes a bigger difference as your acceleration comes in earlier. In the end took both off and sold them. Now running a TCM do it yourself flash tune via the ODBC port which does both and means 30 minutes sitting in the car waiting to put it on Stage 1 or back to stock.

Should read removed the blue spark before it went into the dealership and TMC motorsport flash tablet tune 👍🏻

Nice! Yes, fitting it was a massive faff - also interesting that you did the pedal box, unless it's wet / motorway driving, I always have sport mode on for the throttle response

The pedal box actually adds more to sport mode 😉 also it helps to stop you stalling the car as the pedal travel is lessened 👍🏻

Is this something that could be added to a 2019 Lusso Plus? Pardon the possibly stupid question; I’ve only had her about three months so I’m still a newb. ✌️

You can indeed, they offer a Fiat or Abarth variant 👍🏼

To be fair, someone with smaller hands than me could try and reach in from the top - but yes, not much clearance around the engine!
