Oh no, Kate, I’m so sorry to hear that… The hoops they make us jump through for a bag are crazy 😒 I do, however, believe that they intended to do a 2nd drop, so there may still be hope in June/July? I recommend refreshing the link once a day, maybe there’s still hope - keeping fingers crossed ❤️

Beautiful bag! Rhodium plating prevents tarnishing (while it lasts). Once it wears away, tarnish may begin to set in. Tiffany’s regular silver is just plain silver, with no plating, which is why it can begin to tarnish quickly for some people. To help prevent tarnishing, try to keep it away from fragrances and cosmetics! These will both wear down the rhodium plating and cause tarnishing of the silver itself.

I’ve been trying to find one on the resale market, I’ve only been able to find the satin one. Congrats it’s a beautiful bag. The hardware is plated with rhodium so it won’t tarnish like plain silver.

Beautiful bag! I was wondering if the fend metal would get scratches. That's awesome the metal won't scratch. The inside is so pretty. New subscriber. I'm surprise we are not friends. We have the interest. It definitely does not make sense way they lied. Love the story how you found out you were getting the bag. Becareful with dark clothes when wearing this beauty.

I don’t buy duplicates of bags either but I might make an exception for the baguette one day…and yes it does sound shady what they did but hopefully they don’t do that every time or else everyone would be on to them! Enjoy your new beauty and bday bag! So special ❤

I feel like they have so many different leathers, fabrics, prints etc for the baguettes that they almost feel like completely different bags with the same functionality, so I wouldn’t be surprised if one day I got one more 👀🤣❤️ And thank you so much! 😍

Stunning bag! Here’s something to know about silver! It will tarnish if it’s not being used or stored in an air tight bag! Basically, silver likes to be worn! However you mentioned that that paper work said it was rhodium plated, this will prevent tarnishing for a very long time unless that top coating layer comes off with use! Again since it’s a bag and not a bracelet this wouldn’t happen for a very long time if ever! Depending of how you use it… so all in all you should be able to enjoy your bag for a very long time with no worries of course do not store anywhere humid and don’t take it on beach vacations… hope this helps:)

💗💗💗 as long as it’s not in a constant humid/salt environment it will be fine just maybe wipe out down when you return home it should stay beautiful and shiny for a very long time enjoy this beauty

OMG Totally stunning bag - so happy for you that you finally got it, its really gorgeous!!! I'm wondering though how much luxury companies make in interest whilst holding peoples money for a few months before releasing bags - when you think of all the £4k amounts from all over the world held over so long it must amount to quite a huge profit on top of the profits from the bag prices itself, double whammy! 🤣🤑🤑👀🏦
