Lulu being so brave and curious is a joy to see.... and the ground level shots of Diamond and Chase are fantastic ! Yes, the charge must have raised your heart rate... but I think they are REALLY settling in . And you are right , the movements of Croc Monitors are so fluid and beautiful... and Diamond Finally Got Her Egg ......What a Wonderful Video !

I think Chase just doesn't feel nervous about you, anymore. Obviously, he didn't mean harm... more running that way than running AT you. And Diamond! Wow, was that big trust on her part! Still a little nervous but knowing that you're okay, and willing to eat with you right there. Huge progress! And I think Lulu is starting to love you more than a little.

I think it’s awesome that you feed the wildlife as well, I’ve started doing it in my own yard the most common are the see ya later lizards ( that is of course not their real name they are called that here in Australia because they’re always waving with one hand/foot lol ). I got a real kick watching you do it. If you ever make your way down under you should check out Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo. You would fit right in with the Irwin’s they’re down to earth people. Steve’s widow is from the states but I’m sure you already knew that. You’d absolutely love the Steve Irwin nature reserve where they study the crocodiles.

Chase was clearly spooked by something, he kept stopping still and looking to the left(front facing,binocular vision) There was no aggression when he rushed at you. Wow, Croc Monitors really are no joke. So fast. If they want to bite you, they will!

Wow! That would have spooked just about anybody! I'm glad it seemed to be a bluff charge or I'm not sure the equivalent of that in monitor terms. Really interesting video and glad it was not a "seriously close call" as it could have been! You handled that very well!

that speed was insane!! good reflexes dude😂. but if he wanted to, you would have probably received a bite. and the calfe is such a dangerous place to get lacerations.

Did u get the eggs straight from the fridge? Maybe if they had some heat like room temp it might help her. Because if she discovered a nest the eggs would likely be warm from being sat on. Idk just a thought.

These are proof that your cages are too low, you should make one twice as high for the Crocs with a living tree in the middle to replicate their environment. That would show the others how to keep them

I do have a soft spot for LuLu, it's great to see her so confident now. I remember when she first got to the Kamp and she was so timid and defensive but now it's like she's a different animal.

After it was all said and done it looked like chase was just as spooked as you were. After the bump it’s like he froze just as much lol. Mouth closed and tail wasn’t even curled. Scary as hell, but I don’t think he was being malicious

I hope you’ve seen a dr about the dizziness…there are multiple causes. Lulu is a stitch…she’s very cautious about those eggs. You never know how a new food item might behave…those eggs could bite back! Plus eating can be a dangerous time if you get too distracted. I don’t think he intended to bite you..,he was close enough to take a chunk out of your leg. Would have made my heart beat faster, too. Magnificent creatures.

That was so fast I missed it the first time because I blinked!!! Holy smokes, is he fast! Can we see a slow-motion version of that clip? Otherwise, that was a fantastic visit with the Crocs! They are definitely getting more comfortable with you! There was a moment there where Chase was just still and posing, and you could see how powerful his chest and arms are. Dude is stacked! 😂

and they are the longest in length.. second only to the komodos, and asian water monitors.. i seriously doubt perenti get huge.. unless you run across in captive breeding expos giant perentis which on the tail end are fast and agile.. if you think croc monitors are fast up cross in captivity.. watch them on nature documentaries flying through canopyies way up 100 feet up in trees going from one tree to another catching monkeys

You can slow it yourself by using the "playback speed" function within the settings tab on the top right corner. Hope this helps.

Kenan, be careful, I used to have the same problem, getting dizzy, thinking I was standing up too fast. Turns out I have low blood pressure and at times it drops real low and can cause dizziness and even cause me to pass out...idk if that was necessarily a charge, I might be crazy but that looked more like a protectful thing, either something spooked him and he came to protect u, or looking for protection, especially cause he didn't show any real aggression as in biting or clawing..his tail never curled when he charged
