The first four items were acquired all together as a package deal that fell into my lap. The fifth machine I was actively searching for. It's close enough to what I wanted and fit the budget better than a brand new one.

Jacob, i think you will like the whites, we farmed around Batavia and Owensville, had Moline tractors and white equipment. Also Oliver combines. I always wanted a white tractor, ran a 2_135 one spring and loved it.l think. You will like them, good cheap horsepower!! The next time I'm over at Andys I'll have to stop in and check out the new toys, lol !
@skipruckert46056 ай бұрын
Jacob, yes, it sounds you like having a very nice White Christmas. Just a little history about the White Corporation. They were previously a trucking business. They wanted to get into the agricultural business so in 1957 they bought the Oliver Corporation. Then, because a number of their combines, tillage equipment, etc. Was lacking they found that in 1961 that a Canadian company called Cockshutt, their share price was very cheap so they bought 30% of the stock and through a hostile takeover took over Cockshutt Corporation, which had been the first tractor line to offer live PTOs and state-of-the-art draft shifting engineering for their combines. In 1946 it took 10 years till everyone else caught up. So the White Corporation was actually the result of Oliver, Cockshutt and Massey Harris. I have 4 Cockshutt tractors, no farm, but I just love these tractors. If you have any questions, let me know, Skip Western PA

@@craigrasnic4178 makes sense why it happened then personally when the tractor gets over 100 pto I prefer a cab but rather have a cab over not at all air con is huge on cabs that a full of glass my 8050 Allis was terrible all summer when the ac went out and I hate running with doors open I'll be putting a factory cab on my 6080 when I get it back up and going have the cab ready just no parts for the tractor yet will definitely be better than using growing up when it was just an open station what changed my mind was my little 6070 Allis had factory cab needed parts for the 6070 bought a cab from a yard took what I needed (door have the bad door from the 6070 it's fixable but wasn't gonna fix it in the time frame I wanted the 6070 going in) so I decided when I get the 6080 in the shop it gets that cab to nice to waste
