OBE's are possible because we are not our bodies, I mean for a time it seems we are ,sure, during this necessary earth life" learning school", we're not our body though, we are Consiousness. and consciousness can be anywhere, everywhere, somewhere and not anywhere in particular, u pick.

Yes! I listen to a lot of spiritual teacher Sri Mooji, philosopher ALan Watts, to reach these understandings. and Dr. David R Hawkins, and certain Hindu teachers of nonduality way of teaching, All those help. peace!

Brian Linville I'm at work, and I've been listening to Alan Watts all night! I've found some of his talks about Buddhism and Hinduism. I'm about to upload them here when I get home. I haven't heard them anywhere else. Very good teachings by him. I'm glad we have that in common. I'll have to check out the others you mentioned! Although I have had a few lucid dreams, and one particular night that I became completely conscious as I am now, those occurrences a kind of rare. I would love to be able to achieve this more often. As far as swapping bodies, I don't think that's possible because you always remain connected to your avatar. But good news! If you want a life that you dream of, realize everything is internal, and nothing is impossible. Start fixating in your mind what it is you desire. Mist people also don't realize that everything you experience is what you desire. It's a hard concept to grasp, because we think we would have absolutely everything we desire. I think of it in comparison to our dreams. Everything in your dream occurs within your mind as you dream. You literally create everything. The good, the bad and the ugly. When you're dreaming and become aware that you're dreaming, you become lucid. You then begin to create a dream that you desire. There is not much difference in out waking life. Things tend to take a little longer, because if our belief systems and attachment to certain points of view. You can have any life that you desire. You are only limited by yourself. It takes practice, and a building process from one experience to the next. Just hold in your mind what you desire. Try not to fear anything, and love with all you have. You'll see that little by little your dreams will become a physical reality. Patience is important too. Actually things happen quicker if you are patient, and try not to force things. Remember that you have been doing this your entire life (just like dreaming). The key is to become a lucid conscious dreamer. Don't give up on your OBEs! I thought that it would never happen for me. archaic outlaw thank you for the reply! :-) I'll keep what you said in my mind. I gonna try astral projection again tonight, and maybe every night if I feel like it (is it good idea to try out every night or is it too often?). It would be an awesome experience for me and beneficial I believe to have an OBE! I love trying out new things, the problem is that I think most of those I know might have neophobia (fear of trying new things) but I would think the problems would dissapear as soon as I'll get an OBE. I'll try to have patience, even if it's kinda hard for me. I have tried to be patient a very long time and I think/hope I have become more patient since that time I got those inner vibrations and felt like I'm getting closer. Anytime soon I hope I will succeed in an OBE As for the body-swapping, I know we are strongly attached via so called silver cords, but I was thinking if there where any way to trick the silver cords into thinking it belongs to someone else. I mean, you could trick the brain into thinking you're asleep (in order to OBE) and could trick into getting an astral body, maybe merging with that person you desire to swap with into the very same spot and confuse the cord into not knowing wich astral body belongs to wich silver cord. I don't know, it's just speculations. Everything is possible as you said in your reply. One thing with this body swapping thing is that I have always been curious about how it would be to be the opposite gender (a girl for my case). I mean, a girl can wear beautiful colorful dresses, be more flexible and maybe more things that boys might not be able to do. I have so many dreams that my brain is full of it! Some day it might come true most or all of them :-)
