not sure if you noticed but when at around 8 min mark you were doing 18 damage on a crit and when you healed from half to full health were still doing 18-20 on crit so it seems halo is a permanent damage upgrade even when healed which seems to be why its so good.

Hey Dex, if you haven't done so in a farm run or what have you, the damage bonus and attack speed bonus items are really strong after a few levels, thanks to the bonus passives they gain. Also as you may hace noticed, the artifact which removes xp drops is basically mandatory on long runs. If you don't use it, the sheer amount of xp on the level causes so much lag that trying to move around is ultimately what gets you killed.

Between the capstone of the Ruby upgrades and the capstone of the Death Explosion upgrades (which both scale effectively infinitely) + the crit recursion slash and as many projectile splits as I could get, I took a run to the point that the game broke- everything stopped spawning, except for a single boss that spawned inside a wall and couldn't be hit. It wound up oneshotting me when I tried to find an angle where I could damage it. I definitely think Flawless Ruby is the main secret to going infinite in this game though. Fun to see you doing content on it still, I quite enjoy this one.

I’m loving this game very simple but super fun with the different options for upgrades. Also I’m waiting for the freak out when you get to a boss with over 1 million hp.

in the last video i mention the splinters if u get more lvls each splinter the pops can also crit for insane single target damage the idle hands help do more onhit effects to happen with crit can be insane

The tranquil mass is good once it is maxed, it gives you a shield that makes you take 25% less damage, also thick hide just gives you free heals and also gives you good amounts of damage reduction

You need to move with that character to trigger it's auto attack. I think every time you complained about your DPS you were standing still

My most crazy run was the one i went for the 'I take the lot' artifact(the one which require at least one rank in everything) I played with a 2.2x point multiplier. The positive thing about picking up everything is that every stat is somewhat useful, sure i focused mostly on raw stats when there was nothing new to pick. Got most my items from elites and bosses anyway.

If you level up the combo explosion to level 4, it starts generating xp orbs depending on combo number. Useless on zero xp arti run ofc, but if not very good.

It seems to be that only one death effect can trigger per death. So one death effect tends to surge ahead. The most common is Wildfire that was my primary damage dealer on my billion+ run. So I usually get 1 stacked death effect, 100% crit then max crit damage then all the on hit effects I can get.

Just letting you know, if you do the mod that you can aim your auto attacks they will constantly go off regardless of distance. Most of your abilities aren't going off because they are based on your auto attack.

Hey Dex, just wanted to share a little thing which I found out during my run, the item thay gives you healing and damage reduction, that one is OP, you can get like 50% dmg reduction and it will help you a lot with survival, I got a pretty nice score thanks to it.

Idk how to trigger the spears, but from some other Goobies vids that i've watched, they somehow trigger crazy ammount of spears tho (one vid that i can remember is Blitz's video)

When you get the spears spam strafe left and right and it should carpet bomb the map with spears but only if you are surrounded and u aren't 1shotting everything

If the boss is big enough, the projectiles hit the center of the boss and span out and all of them hit the boss as it's coming from the center. So your 1 hit can hit like 20 times with everything. And it looks like you had 3 or 4 projectiles so now you are hitting the boss 80 times per shot.

I consider the two items of the Chain and the Splinters as the two best single target damage items along with essence of Zigrid :)

Idle hand is best card with chain and soft blobs with something on hit

Serrated slash is a great upgrade. It slashes an enemy with a guaranteed crit, which can trigger another one.

Sonic Howl as main weapon is a destroyer of worlds. Its clearing power is impressive.

All of this talk about double criting reminds me of a turn based rpg that had a status effect that always made you crit, and if you landed a crit with that status effect, you got double crit dealing 4x the damage

It looks like the idle hands does not affect the damage of abilities like sonic howl or the character ability at the very least, which leads me to believe it only applies to your characters natural bullets.

Use splinter and thousand needles with dizzy wizzy character when upgreaded they can wipe out a wave in secounds plus the explosion when you kill the enemy

I accidently checked my skill numbers before getting the Idle Hands card and none of my card stats went down so I think it's only for the auto attacks andeverything that scales of the auto attacks. BTW an early Treehugger tier 2 can spiral a run completely out of control if you refund the stuff you get from treehugger... like in a level up takes 200+ million cxp and you are far over level 100 ^^ but works only without your artifact you like so much ^^.

Ohhhh, FINALLY you went full Halo 😎 Now, the only thing you need to make Halo an endless killing machine is (unexpectedly) Thick Hide, tons of slash, chain, and abilities like tranquillizing mass that shield you and slow the blobs down. It might seem counterintuitive, but Thick Hide is the most important upgrade, because it allows you to resist hits and to regen HP to continuously stay on a low threshold. Try it and you will see 😉

Maybe those early instances of bursting bosses down was due to crit slash and your splinter/thousand needle? This character has a shotgun attack so 5 shots go out, all create splinters, needles and slahes and then all the splinters and needles also create slashes

You should use thick hide with halo

I had a run with this character with such a broken build i reached the point after 30 minutes the bosses that dont move just suddenly get thrown at me and just killing im not talking about mumsa im talking about gaia suddenly rocketting towards me ontop of me and eating me basically cause i had a cleared map bukd with this character that yeah like i said cleared the map entirely wish i had recorded it

guys i need some help. So i have around 20 hours in goobies now and I have been trying to get all steam advancements and all artifacts. Everytime I try to do the one where you have to find all items I have the same issue of not being able to find idle hands. This would not bug me but I was checking my catalog and I have never even found it. I have been specifically looking for it for about 10 hours now. if any of you guys know if its bugged or if you have to do something first to unlock it then please help me I am struggling.

I want to just elucidate for you that the point of having the spikes isn't to do lots of damage, it's to do damage lots of times. A significant amount of your Halo spears were probably coming from those spikes.

hit a 24 billion damage run just before watching this >< accidentally walked into an enemy at 1 frame per second :< for what benefits from aoe and projectile stuff its depends on the tag just under their name on the card afiak Idle hands I am not sure about tbh, I stopped picking it up after I maxed out the projectile upgrade in the meta buffs, less damage for a projectile that is mostly going to miss anything that the projectiles actually do anything to T_T (looking at your numbers, it does seem to hit all damage) soul of amam gets decent after you get a few of them because the % chance to trigger gets to the point where you are throwing them in every direction every shot. Halo is overrated, sure it looks cool as heck, specially when on a high attack speed build but implosion and fire do pretty much the same thing but better without the hp issues >
