Funny watching you drive around ATL. I've lived there for 40 years and I recognized most of what I saw. I've never been on that stretch of road that the shipper is on. Always turned left at the T--never right.

The glaze you are talking about is that first layer of heavier water pushing the oil from the road upward via buoyancy. It is dangerous because its basically a thin slick of oil that rain hasn't had a chance to wash away

I lived in ATL for awhile for my then bfs job while I drove an hour south everyday. I hated that damn city, I grew up on a farm, but I will tell you I met some of the most amazing people there from all over the world. And the food was bomb.

Been in L.A. for decades and I really don’t mind for the Traffic… it’s funny when I was trucking I’d bothered me less than driving my personal car 🤷🏻‍♂️ but when I got back to L.A. for home time I’d think too myself sometimes “ 🤦🏻‍♂️ why do we have so many people here?” It wasn’t for traffic reasons it was just that I’d see endless lights on both sides of the Freeway 🛣️ 😂

I’ve lived in cities. I’m with you, I don’t like them. I like my city. We have 12,000 people when the college kids aren’t here. When they are, it’s about 35,000. Just the right size. The only thing open 24/7 is Kwik Trip. Even Walmart closes at 10pm.

Fortunately, that car looks good compared to the one I saw yesterday. Both vehicles are totaled by definition. There will be no buyback. There will be no salvage. I hope everybody made it out. But I would not be surprised if somebody passed away in the car.

Gotta love Atlanta traffic is not fun been through there a lot during I was trucking that is why truckers path is the best one for gps it runs off of google maps but meant for trucks

another great video dave yea I'd love to live in a small cabin for a new permanent house but then I'd have to waste gas to go back and forth to work it's just a dream though oh well yea that was a small accident you I passed I saw a bad 7 car accident a few weeks ago the first car hit the center divide idk how that driver didn't see it be careful out there this winter everyone...oh btw some GPS systems will show you ahead of time which exit to take (at least mine does in my mdx)' so it depends)

Shoes no boots? Trust me, boots saved my live , 25 years of driving and wore steeltoe boots every time driving. I found myself in the ditch jack knifed with the trailer on top of cab , I had to kick the way out, breaking glass and bending steel while the truck was burning. Boots and pants every time behind the wheel! It will be a sad day if I am proven RIGHT!

What was the source you used from your search about bees? Are you aware the first 15 minutes of rain is, or can be, the worst... Downpours actually cause more water on the road, which can cause hydroplaning. If you're so, 'against' cities, then why are you a trucker? Five miles back is too much. A mile can be too much.

I say the same exact thing. There are way too many damn people. Where I live is actually a small town and they are now overcrowding it making it suck. No offense but a whole lot of people suck
