Thanks so much! Honestly, I’ve been experimenting back and forth and this works very well + it’s much easier to maintain. I think it’s a necessary compromise. If I only had one pair of crocodile skinks I’d probably do a huge Paludarium but that’s not the case so I think it’s important to mix ease of care + efficiency while trying to still have beautiful, naturalistic vivrais that helps the animals feel secure and at home!

That whole Leap setup is soooo amazing. I recently got a baker's rack about the same size for an exo terra 18x18x24. I'm building my first bioactive viv and getting my first reptile, a crestie. I'm gonna use the drylock method. I knew it would be expensive but I never thought it would be THAT expensive! It's due in large part to your channel, yours and Mike's and Troy's. It would be awesome to have a rack like that full of Leaps filled with phants. Keep on herping, buddy. I'll keep watching and learning.

I've been raising up a few pairs of garters, four pairs . I think those would be so nice for a pair . 2x2 is about perfect and the height is nice they like to climb and purch up on branches or cork. I've had them in a big community tank but it's about time to get them in separate enclosure for breeding . It is nice to have a clean looking setup so it looks nice in the room . I enjoy watching your videos because of the good information and the excellent care you take of all your animals. Love the green tree monitors so amazing! I couldn't get one so I got some emerald tree skinks . Like all your videos keep it up.

Your enclosures are set up so beautiful and your Skink's are doing great. I love watching this project bloom. If I have a leap habitat like that I would put my crested geckos in them. I looks like it would give them plenty of room and would still allow me to see them more and watch them.

Love it! Are the leap enclosures the 22x17x18 or the 22x17x24? I’ve been looking into them and this is the push I need to purchase one!

Hi Dayyan, awesome video! My question is regarding the Leap cage, I like them a lot mostly due to the lightweight thing, but how do you manage the soil humidity (and water leak) having the bottom of the door made by mesh? is there an option to replace it with plastic/glass? Thanks

You’re a huge inspiration for me planning on getting one! I’m trying to set up a paludarium for one, what would you recommend as the max depth? Also do you think they benefit as a pair or by themselves for someone not getting them specifically to breed? Thanks In advance!

What kind of misting system do you use. I've got a half-moon bioactive paludarium tank setup currently & I'm looking to add an auto misting system for maintaining my humidity while I'm away. I normally use a spray bottle.

As mentioned in the video, I use a mistking. Leap sells their own misting system (you can learn more about it on their KZfaq channel @leap but it’s not quite powerful enough to power a whole rack. I imagine they’ll eventually offer a model that can!

I'd love to have a set up of Leap habitats for my Geckolepis Maculata aka Fish Scale Gecko families I have. I was actually looking at their habitats the other week and would love to get some eventually and some for the Crested Geckos as well.

Hey I just had an idea for a filtration system that would hold up and not require much attention and I’m not saying it’s a super practical idea because it will take up a good amount of space but something I might consider for myself Someday if I ever get some of these beautiful skinks! so my ideas was a circulating sump tank with a sponge filter and substrate ps Congratulations on your success. I love your content. Thank you.

Hi Brian! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! Perhaps I’m not in vision ing it the same way as you but I feel like that might be a little complicated for all these tanks + I have to slide them around a lot to reach all of them which isn’t practical… Thank you so much for your support!

These enclosures look great! The materials look like a compromise between glass and pvc. Is it corrugated plastic? I would consider upgrading my chahoua and gargoyle geckos into these!

These terrariums look so cool! Absolutely love the driftwood hardscape, wonder if the skinks will breed as often tho with only a water bowl rather then pond

@@Reptiliatus awesome! If they do great with just a water bowl that'll probably help skyrocket their popularity due to many struggling with paludariums. Personally love paludariums but it can definitely take a while to perfect them but you can make them filterless if done right

Would you recommend crocodile skinks for a beginner? I want to get a blue tongued skink someday but these are so pretty and interesting to look at. Although i do understand they are just kind of a watch don't touch kind of reptile
