Gertrude has an enemy that prevents her from escaping Fairy Land. After looking at later issues after this final, Gertrude's enemy became clear. Gertrude's greatest enemy is herself. This is not a philosophical statement, Gertrude is her own worst enemy because her actions and decisions are what prevent her from escaping Fairy Land. Her mental instability makes her incapable of making decisions that benefit her and she cannot make any "right" decisions, even when the best path is right in front of her, literally and figuratively. The fact that she never listens to others and acts without thinking also hinders her progress. She may have been able to survive this long, but if she cannot overcome these issues, then she is not leaving Fairy Land anytime soon.

What makes this any different from spawn? Seems like an "Evil Comic" to me. I'm fine if you don't want to do spawn because you don't like it but don't say the reason is because it's dark and has gore in it.

It's like simple quests that she fucks up. It's like pick up 10 roses then deliver it but she instead kills 10 civilians. Then it keeps going on and on until there is only death and failures.

It’s like a video game: You have a bunch of side quests, you have the desire to finish said quests, and you never finish the game.
