I HATE GPS! | 2024 King of Motos | Race Vlog 11

We headed to Johnson Valley California for one of the longest running hard enduros in the US and round 1 of the 2024 US hard Enduro Series!
King of Motos is a GPS style race that takes place the week before the famous King of Hammers Ultra4 event. Hayden and I have been hard at work and are ready to see where we stand at round 1! I got all tied up in explaining my GPS troubles that I forgot to mention Haydens results, He finished 9th overall which is a career best for him and an awesome result for being his first time at KOM so go follow his instagram

I know considering buying a better model of gps might not be financially doable but those ETrex Garmin are pain to use, the Montane model is way better. The other option is to have that Nurolink surgically in bedded in your brain so all you have to do in upload the GPS tracks and waypoints and your set also the added benefit of being able to use Starlink as well 😅. Good race no matter what you say, enjoyed the video.

Look like if tough ride. GPS to definitely be really hard to read when you're riding like that. I don't think I could do it.

Id like to hear more dialogue about the Rieju and what you like and don't like in the future vlogs. Congrats on even finishing that race it's brutal. Only 18 people finished. 👊

These GPS have an "off course"alarms which they go off when you skip your line! I imagine it's hard to hear them when battling..... Keep up the good work 💪💪💪👍👍👍👍

Good tip! Hopefully Quinn sees and can shed some light. I wonder how you could use this alert to ensure the rider heard it, like headphones or something.

I was not aware of this feature. How ever I didn’t usually pick the track and hit “go” because every time I’ve done that and pass the start point they glitch out and the track completely disappears. Which is exactly what happened in the qualifier. So I just pull up the tracks and click “show on map” so the gps doesn’t really know that I’m supposed to be following that tracks. Quite confusing stuff but I even got new 32x’s this year and they still glitch out in the same fashion as the 30x’s did. I’m just happy this is the only GPS race lol
