My dad is a geoduck diver so it’s always funny to me when people see geoducks for the first time and freak out 😅 When they’re fresh out of the water they actually spray water out of the fleshy end which is hilarious. But if y’all think the flesh of the geoduck is gross, just wait until you see the gut ball inside 😭 It’s also kinda cool because a lot of the other fisherman like geoduck and so they’ll trade my dad some crab or fish for geoduck and fresh crab is literally the best. Tofino is my favourite place to work on the boat for him because it’s so beautiful there and also where I spent a lot of my childhood. I’m oversharing and nobody asked but yeah. That’s all :)
