#unwanted child #figure skating #female athlete
Our heroine was horrified when she learned she was pregnant: she was a professional figure skater and dreamed of achieving great success on the ice and staying in the sport as long as possible. But she was too far along and doctors couldn’t help her at that point.
So our heroine lost her future and ended up with nothing. She hated her daughter but decided to use the child for her vainglory: she resolved to make her daughter a champion and have her realize her own lifelong dream.
And thus began the most tragic story of a girl who was born in a family that never wanted her.

Cecile have no right to blame her daughter for ruining her professional figure skater career after she had found out that she was pregnant🤰 because it's not Anna's fault. Cecile is right about being a monster because she has never been a loving mother to her daughter Anna while growing as she was controlling, kept critise her mistakes and broken her promise to her husband about be there for each other as a family before he died. If Cecile had kept her promise in the first place and change her ways to be a better mother then none of this wouldn't have happen.

There's a fine line between being protective and abusive. Cecile was borderline to abusive and she did break her promise to change her ways. Her grandmother(also Cecile's mom) terminated her parental rights to Anna and it took that, along with her being alone for her to see her betrayal to her husband.

The problem was that Cecile made her choice and had her husband saw how horrible she was to Anna, he would've left her a long time ago. It took both being injuries and her mom taking custody away from her to realize how terrible she was as a mom herself. Even then, it was far too late. Anna found a real mom in her grandmother, went back to school and moved on without Cecile in her life.

All these years Cecile try to be a coach, and less of a mother to her daughter and this is what it turned her into. She tried so hard to force her dreams onto her kid. Not knowing that she was fortunate more then she realized. And she gave up that precious gift all for the sake of her selfish dreams. I mean even celebrity lives are not all as glamorous as people claim it to be. They do have dozens of awards and trophies but that means nothing if they don’t have anybody to share it with. I hate when parents blame their kids for ruining their lives when they’re the ones who chose to have them. I understand wanting to impress and make your parents proud but that does not mean it has to come at the kids extent. The daughter tried so hard in the end but all she’s earned in the end was her mother scorn.

She was trying to live vicarously through her daughter, she was never a mother to her, at best she was a trainer or coach and even then she did not do it properly, forced eating disorders on her daughter. The skating instructor should have gotten suspicious and notified child protective services. Interesting that unlike some of the other videos we did not see the generic "happy ending" where the daughter forgives her and she redeems herself by being a good grand mother. We never find out for sure if her daughter accepts her.
@ladyfire44

It was probably likely Anna didn't accept Cecile back in her life. She tells Cecile off if she was a real mom to her, she would've tried to let her live her own dreams, loved her unconditionally and tried to keep her healthy. Because she wanted to relive her glory days as a figure skater through Anna, abused her and criticized her for wrong steps, she was fed up and moved in with her grandmother, Julia. When she found out about the abuse, Julia had Cecile's parental rights terminated and allowing Anna to stay with her. She acted more as a real mom to Anna and was more supportive of her living her own life. The only thing Anna wants from Cecile is to go away and slams the door in her face.

Except W-News was telling the story from Cecile's point of view and as an antagonist who regretted what she did in the end. She tells how she lost everything because of her own selfish needs to regain former glory as a figure skater. Cecile ended up being confronted by her mother, Julia, for how she mistreated Anna and had her parental rights terminated. At first, she was happy about the whole situation because it meant she could get back her lost glory as a figure skater without her family in her way. However, Karma was at Cecile's doorstep when she found out that no one cared about seeing her back because of how she mistreated Anna and an injury to her knee made it worse. When her former coach went to visit Cecile at her home to ask about her family life, she admitted she ruined it with her selfishness. It was only then she finds out the abuse her former student caused Anna and how she lost custody to Julia. While upset with Cecile over the whole thing, she wisely advises her to talk to Anna, apologize for her actions and not to interfere with her life. In that moment, she regrets everything she's done and how her abusive nature ended up betraying Mike.

You may give up your dreams to take care your family or you can do both, your children may have different dreams you don’t have the right to choose for them but to help them what they need..if their want to have a same dream as you, you help them, train them, nurture them and help each other out so they can make their and yours dreams come true together. Cecile was a terrible mother. However, I want to say that women shouldn't be forced to be mothers if that's not what they want. And Cecile made it clear she didn't want to be a mother and felt pressured to give up her dream of competing in figure skating after she had her daughter. I felt sorry for her, but it still isn't right to take it out on her daughter or push Anna beyond her limits like she did just to live her dream vicariously through Anna. If motherhood is what you want for yourself and you do your best to be a good, loving mother to your children, that's great. But if it's not what you want, you shouldn't feel pressured to do it because others want it.

You mean "antiheroine!" Making a baby pay for anything, and that includes conception and birth, is making that baby pay for nothing! To think I was gonna beat Cecile up, but I suppose being terminated of all custody over Anna and all those years of solitude were punishment enough.

It is totally her choice whether to forgive that devil or not. Some people forgives and some people do not. It is totally subjective perspective. Forgiveness is completely Voluntary and not Compulsory that everyone must understand.

If people have no desire to become parents perhaps they shouldn't have unprotected sex, maybe? How did I get to 43 without getting pregnant once? I protected myself big time. It's not hard. Trust me.

The thing that really gets me most,is the fact that if she was THAT keen to continue her career, cecile would have taken contraception precautions, as everyone knows what unprotected sex does. Her husband wasn't really to blame either. The doctor was 100% right in refusing her the abortion, and quite apart from anything else, cecile by depriving her daughter of food when the girl was training hard, was endangering her life,as a very hard demandingc sport actually requires very good nytrition to maintain muscle strength, and a healthy physique,to sustsin their energy. It's only a miracle that the girl wasn't more seriously affected by her mothers neglect and bullying. Cecile needs some urgent psychological help.

Sigh. The man was a saint to live with such a harpy. But he got sick and passed. Probably her nagging made him sick. If she didn't wanna be pregnant she should have insisted on the latex instead of relying on pills.

The only perfect birth control is abstinence or sterilization. The man was her husband. BC pills are actually more effective than condoms if taken correctly. But still not perfect.

I really hate Cecile because she is a bad mother to her daughter only because her career ended from being pregnant. That was unfair that she took it out on her own daughter and how dare she only give her 1 meal day and lock the fridge!

I got cynical at the point when her father on his death bed asked cecìle and his daughter to look after each other. I just KNEW that the minute he passed away, that poor little Anna would lead a dogs life,as the mother is the most evil, cruel, harsh, and insensitive creature ever to set foot on the earth. She SHOULD have been reported to child protection agencies, when she pretty much STARVED the child to death. Thank goodness the grandmother took her in and saved her life. I was brought up by MY grandparents whose motto in life was always, after the SIN, comes the SORROW. No doubt Cecìle, was shaken to the core to be told about a grandson she's never known about all.these years. She's a good classical example of that quote of my grandparents, and that shock.is presumably, what made her repent and be sorry 4 what's she's done. IF it can ever repair the damage that's been done. Is another matter. Only time, patience, real contrition, and the good or ill will on part of the daughter, will tell its own tale over the Years.

It was also the father's fault for letting that abuse continue for too damn long until he passed away . Afterwards, it continuesd until that narcissist mother nearly killed the poor child ( age 15 /16 ) . The mother could have been jailed for abuse and neglect . Plus she's been waving the red flags before and after the child's birth . What a nightmare . 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
