The only thing I would suggest while thrifting old stuff is if you use the vintage mugs that you buy- it might be a good idea to lead test them! :D

When i had a room at my parents place i was never allowed to make it into my own space. Now i live with my partner but i only have a small little corner with a desk thats fully decorated with stuff i love and that makes it "my" corner. Loved ur make over and styling of ur place and im glad u were able to it with ur tastes

i got a $300 white vanity with roses and rlly pretty carving that's like 5'8 at my local antique store with huge mirror too. such a good deal bc even rly small vanities are so expensive. the guy who works there even took the $50 tax off for me

Remove the lamp shade and place it in a bucket of warm water (covering the whole thing) place three table spoons of baking soda and three table spoons of WHITE vinegar. Leave in for a full day (and night if you wish) and you’ll see the stain, lash dirt lift off. Making it white white , pearly white 🤍😉

I knew that the moment you mentioned wanting to go to thrift stores, I would love this video! I love that you went second-hand shopping for everything here. I always want to redo my room but I don’t want to contribue to the massive consumerism that is so trendy these days - I always feel so bad lol. This is the first room makeover video I’ve seen where the person thrifts and shops second-hand! Hope this becomes more popular in the future :)

My wardrobe choices tend to be very grungey dark academia swamp grandpa, but my home decor style is apparently more woodland grandma/cottage core. Go figure! 😂 PS - your cat is sooo cute! ❤

I felt your pain today, I bought a new table for my kitchen that took FOREVER to find one that fit my aesthetic. Drove an hour to get it with my dad. Now I gotta sell my old one so I can put my new table together 😮💨😮💨😮💨 it was 80 here too. We'll get it together lol still hunting for a new lamp and dresser myself
