My first time online was literally against about 4 Noctis in a row, until I decided to give up for the night. Was very disheartening as an experience.

Ikr! I encountered like 8 Noctis-players in a row and they always immediately left after the match. This drove me so crazy! :D Yeah, FGs can be very disheartening sometimes, but please don`t give up because of bad expreiences like this one. I got bodied pretty often in my main FGs Tekken 7 and Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2. However, I still played on and it was definitely the right decision.

They did the same to me! Immediately left right after the match. Left a sour taste in my mouth. You're right though. It may have been my first online Tekken experience, but I shouldn't let it get to me. Noctis will be flavor of the month for awhile so the best I can do is focus on how to counter him for the time being, as I WILL run into him more online. Next time I see him, I'll be ready. Until then... it's off to training mode!

Oh, you just started playing Tekken 7. I highly recommend you to learn easy combos of your main character and try to figure out which launchers (moves that can send your opponent up into the air so that you can "juggle" him with several attacks) he/she has got. Furthermore it`s very covenient to improve your movement in Tekken. Unfortunately, It`s really not easy , but with "whiff-punishes" due to formidadle spacing (=the foe wants to attack you, but bc you`re out of range he misses and while he must recover from this move you go in quickly and punish him hard) you definitely have the upper hand against most people online. That happened to me so I had to add corrections. Some of the 14 frame punishers are 15f after a short distance like Paul so I now longer can use him to test -14.

Others requested dragunlov so I'll put him higher on the list

actually he does have a lot of safe mid options and really good homing moves, most of the moves in the video that are unsafe have a mixup that is safe too

fb2,1 is lars bound launcher for 14 frames. Very strong but a little tricky to perform.

When I was using Bryan on one of these videos, I only managed to Jet Upper once on a fluke. If I didn't have symptoms of carpal, I would try to execute better.

you need to sidewalk to beat it. Also, Noctis shits on Akuma coz he will always punish fireballs (his f2 has faster travel speed than fireballs, and he can ss~punish fireballs super easily)

When I made a guide using Bryan, I had so much trouble buffering his jet upper that I didn't even bother in this one since it's a similar notation.

Unless they have a short movelist, everyone else has a lot of punishable moves. You should still try him

I knew the frame data of other characters so I used those. First I jabbed after his move to see if it's punishable, then start using moves that take longer until he blocks.

I kind of felt the same way about Raven before but after enough time, we'll all get used to it.

I tested with Paul's Light's Out (B+3) which is a 14 frame punisher and it doesn't punish

Law's 3+4,4 punished it.

Those are really the only 3 I noticed. I didn't finish making my doc on him cause I did it extremely late. Most people focus on offense while I focus more on punishment.
