Hello Everyone and welcome to Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord have decided to do a sequel to my 100 day challenge to see if I can go from the Poorest Lord to the Mightiest King in 100 days starting off from my prior challenge video.

Now this idea may take a while and it may be tedious but if you capture everything and then split the kingdom in 2 and have a battle between the Good son and Evil son that could be interesting

I think Warbands way with dealing with recruiting new nobles to your cause was a lot more immersive and logical. They kind of just get fed up with their current liege and decide to defect. Then they come find you at your court and request you allow them to swear their fealty to them. It just makes the AI lords feel more alive and like they have their own ambitions and goals.

I'm late to watching this, so it might have already been said, but I'll say it anyway. The Battanians are given a set amount of days to reorganised and win back some fiefs before they are expunged from the game. So it means we will no longer be endlessly harrassed after taking their castles and towns. "Kingdoms that lose all of their fiefs no longer linger around. Instead, they get destroyed. The kingdom’s clans become independent, inheriting its diplomatic stances and relations. Over time, they can join available kingdoms or wither away if they fail to do so for more than four weeks."

When a faction is destroyed, the remaining clans become basically mercenaries that will attempt to join another kingdom(if theyre unable to after a set amount of time then they just disappear). They are not recruitable by you or your kingdom as you are at war with them and this war cannot be bypassed as you cant recruit the leader of a Faction/Clan that you are at war with(though you CAN recruit clan members individually if you have high enough relations with them, iirc) So the only way to recruit a clan AFTER you destroy a Faction, is to wait and hope they join another Faction and then you convince them to join you. Another reason for you to always release clan leaders/members that you want to recruit after a battle rather than capturing them. The relation gain with them is far more important than the Denar reward or running the risk of failing the persuasion checks. I tend to only capture merc groups or clans i dont care about. This is another reason why i always use the mod that completely revamps how Clans, Factions and Kingdoms work.

15:30 yeah there's a weird feature where you can't recruit lord while your party is in a city, maybe you also can't recruit lord that are in a dungeon bc they are technically in the city?

Seeing Vlandia so weak is so jarring to me. I’ve done four WC’s and who knows how many casual playthroughs and they’ve always dominated the early-mid game

Heh, I'm doing the opposite, in that it's VERY SLOW. I mentioned it on the prisoners only playthrough. Named people only. I'm about 20 in game years in, and my party so far has 19 people (Me, my wife, my five kids, their wives, and companions. Grandkids need another decade or so until I can use them.) EDIT: By the way, alt view in sieges shows health bars for siege equipment, so you won't have to wonder if you've killed a ram or not.

U gotta recruit them before destroying kingdom. Think with the update after kingdom destroyed they will have like a few weeks to be recruited by other ai kingdoms before they will be destroyed

The game is pretty much identical throughout most of this year if you watch the phoenix king playthrough it is the same game version that is live now with some minor bug fixes

I loaded the game up I am on pc with max settings if you are on console they might look worse or depending on user settings and limitations of your hardware
