It's our final video for Zangief in our road to master series in SF6. We learned a lot in the first couple videos with some inspiration from Snake Eyez and now we just have to get the points we need in ranked to finish the job!

see the amount of dropped combos!! I can see nephew experiencing the same issues i have. Nephew is professional, and the combo's are dropping like crazy still. Gief's combo's are just difficult and have weird delays for the inputs or links... Or the way his buffer works... Capcom just put too much effort into making him difficult.

He is not hard to play at all, it's all about your own playstyle and how it mashes with the character.

Play gief like potemkin. He is a grappler. Condition your opponents with grabs. Learn your drive combos and/or play MODERN. Nothing wrong with it. When i play zangief i play modern because im not learning how to cancel into a 720 on a leverless lol. Doing the 720 on arcade stick/pad is SO easy. Honestly, gief on pad/stick is the way. I main dhalsim (classic) so i understamd your frustration with timing. Youve got this. (Dont be afraid to try modern btw)

Capcom also put holes in his offense, like how RBG/Suplex are the same motion, but there's a distance at which neither work. If you watch in the beginning of the video, Nephew drops a lot of combo's cuz the links don't come out because there's no buffer either.

I don't believe in the authenticity of those videos, for me he plays in a room with a friend who doesn't play with the power that those DJ Masters play.
