Watching this video one year after, with all the wars going on and how Residente has always had a voice for minorities. This hits different now. Seeing all the shade he has received from a lot of Hispanic rapers saying he’s not a Rapper that he don’t belong in the culture. My man Residente has always been there, giving voice to those people that are suffering. Right now with the song This Is not America from Residente, in Panama 🇵🇦 they have taken it as an anthem. The whole world is on fire, is just sad. By the way! Here another puertorican ✌🏼😘 I’m just glad I discovered this reaction now, like I said, it just hits different now ❤

Finally someone mentioned all the metaphors and references pertaining to this masterpiece which is under rated. For example: "In the middle of the ocean I survive without a raft." The Cuban balserito boy escaping from Cuba with his mom who perished in the middle of the ocean. And also, hes referencing to the Syrian boy who eas washed up shore, his family were trying to escape a war torn country. He didn't make it. You had a good point at the last part of your video. Saudi Arabia. Is another way to disable you but the bigger threat is the people in power, the moment you realize something is not right, you become a gonner. Cause greed and power, money..That prevails.

In one part you made a reference to the wars in the Middle East, which are a disgrace. But you forgot to mention that those wars were started by the United State of America. Those wars, those massacres only have a name. They don't happen just because, they happen because a country invades, a country installs and finances terrorists, a country that sells weapons and lives off war. He plagues the world with his weapons power, his greed and ambition. That same country that plunders with the IMF, that finances all the dictatorships in Latin America, trains terrorists and generates conflicts in Eurasia. We must begin to name it, to remember who is behind each conflict, who represents the cancer of this world.
