I like how when they were naming their cousins they didn’t mention France they’re still British in the end
@Thetoucanman9188 ай бұрын
They even mentioned the German state of Prussia and the city of Jerusalem but still didn’t like the French enough to mention them

I’m proud of this song, very pragmatic and intended to really upset Adolph’s day when he heard it. With the grand help of all our good world cousins we showed him.

I mean, I'm sure Americans shared the same sentiment, and it doesn't necessarily speak of the nationality of the song. So who cares

The song is riffing off the idea that many had at the time (including Adolf Hitler) that the British were in the same 'Aryan family' as the Germans.
@LockflyАй бұрын
"Aryan" is a very broad term and for the Nazis as well it was just in a general sense meant a European of noble character and wasn't specific to any ethnicities even for the Nazis, it didn't even mean the blue eyed blonde hair trope. But the Nazis had a more common racial terms they used which were "Nordic" and "Germanic" ethnicities they included in this were the English, Germans, Dutch, Scandinavians, Finns and partially the French.
