Khao Thung Yang is a hill located within the Thung Yang beach in southern Thailand od Chumphon Province and was very popular among the locals who enjoy patronising the Happy Bar on the edge of the beach to relax over drinks, chatting with friends, enjoying some fun time at the beach while listening to musics played at the Bar. There were even live musics played which add further entertainment choices for locals and tourists.
I was here with one mission: to hike up Khao Thung Yang which was a hill situated adjacent to the Thung Yang Beach and Happy Bar. It was quite a challenging experience that can only be summed up as one of the scariest adventures that I would ever wanted to get involved in. But, this mission has to be completed be it a mission impossible or possible. If the former happens, at least I thought I had given my best but if the latter turned out to be the outcome, we'll, who wouldn't be thankful and cherish the success.
So, here I was at the peak of Khao Thung Yang in Chumphon, southern of Thailand after some hikes, rope, ladders and rock climbings that were somewhat a challenging obstacles but as it is, the effort were worth it and definitely rewarding.
Join me in this video, as I hiked up the Khao Thung Yang, that finally brought me to the peak of the hill overlooking the spectacular and marvelous natural surroundings of beach, sea, hils and mountains from the top. And this was indeed my main reason to be here in Chumphon.
