Where's John O'Keefes hat he was wearing that night? Was it recovered? Wouldn't that mysterious 6ft tall man with dark hair, the defense claims was John, would have been wearing that hat? This case needs to be tried again by a higher court.

Consciousness of guilt. Karen Read also told John's niece at 5 am to call Mr. Camerano to come pick her up, because she knew that John was never coming home. And even at 5 am, Mr. Camerano, Kerry Roberts, and Jen McCabe all removed their shoes out of respect for John. Mr. Camerano also shovelled the snow that got in the garage because Karen Read left the door open so that John would not be upset when he got home. This was powerful evidence of consciousness of guilt of the only person who knew that John was never coming home again because she killed him.

Someone trying to cover up a murder and make herself look innocent would not be screaming at him over voicemail. That's how you act when you're drunk and think your boyfriend is cheating on and ignoring you. So many individual pieces fully exonerate her. Her wifi connection at 12:30. Witnesses noting the absence of his body outside at the time. His actual injuries. Every single expert testimony saying he literally couldn't have been killed by the car. Not to mention the many obvious lies by investigators and deliberately misleading tactics by the prosecution. Not only is there reasonable doubt, but the defense did something that almost never happens, and doesn't need to- they PROVED her innocence.

Jackson was telling the jury that the Commonwealth was hoping that everyone would just "look the other way" and just disregard the facts and evidence that proves that Karen DID NOT KILL JOHN. The voicemails are irrelevant. She may have been mad at him for whatever reason because they're both human beings and are not perfect, but that doesn't make her a murderer. Use your common sense? This coming from a prosecutor who isn't using his. Anyone who has watched this entire trial and has common sense clearly sees a plethora of reasonable doubt. The fact that this case moved forward should frighten everyone, you could be accused of a crime you did not commit. Maybe you feel she's not innocent, ok, but reasonable doubt exists therefore, not guilty. To those ready to convict her, i pray you are never on a jury or falsely accused.

Both KR & JO and their entire crew are heavy drinkers. None of these people, including several of the LEO’s, have shown much emotional maturity. Evidence has been disposed of. Evidence has not been collected (inside 34 Fairview). This group of people have circled the wagons & left KR to wear the entire thing. NONE of the people are like able at all. Text messages have been cherry-picked and shown without context. Vehicle evidence is weak. Autopsy is inconclusive. They clearly didn’t break up during the day since they went out that night. The ADA got a crappy case full of holes & he has no choice but to prosecute it. It’s his job & the higher-ups want this horrible episode closed. The defense attorney’s primary job is to test every piece of the prosecution’s case and expose its weaknesses. He illuminated enough reasonable doubt to drive a truck through.

Lally robotically repeats himself, and blatantly asks jurors to disregard components of evidence presented, including omitting the fact of failure to secure crime scene, which taints entire investigation. Even the claims of her saying "oh my God I hit him' versus 'did I hit him?', such statements do not indicate any intention to kill him. Even dooosch-bagg proctor very clearly states he doesn't think he can prove intentional versus accidental impact, even if you believe her car did hit him. No basis to charge murder from any of that evidence. Him suggesting that how she showed grief is evidence of guilt "why did she act like that?" - throw Lally's comments down the crapper. He sounds like he's reciting from a court report, no suggestion that he strongly believes what he's saying. It's almost irrelevant if her car hit him; the evidence is suspect, there is exculpatory evidence to rebut, and mountain of reasonable doubt. Best Lally can hope for is a recalcitrant juror (maybe even a local with a vested interest) forcing a mistrial.
