Baited Arrow makes sense if only because of the amount of tokens that seem to be around at the moment, and maybe lifedrinker beat out marked shot because it's a beast for houndmaster?

@@relloz6 Baited Arrow is definitely fine and another threat in the deck, so I get that. Lifedrinker, though... You already have more than enough beasts. Very effective, consistent HM comboes, too(Shimmerfly, Springpaw, Desert Spear). I mean, the deck lacks 4 drops kind of. Lifedrinker is fine - not at last for the heal. But Marked Shot is such a strong spell, very efficiently costed. Then there is Masked Contender. That card is oftentimes really clunky, as well as inconsistent. Like, 1 of these 3 just has to be worse than Marked Shot. That card is so good. It's also really good at getting you what you need from the discover. Hunter has rather many good spells these days.

Please don't listen to Trump as a form of "stats authority." He consistently misused statistics to create Frankenstein decks with awful winrates, and scrambling to legend with a top tier meta deck doesn't change that. Individual card stats change the moment you change the other cards in the deck also, and swapping it out for a "better" card could reduce your overall winrate. Marked Shot may be best against Hunters *worst* matchups, so its played winrate is low. Does not mean it isn't still a positive addition to the deck.

@UCMnzicTxttDT9HnB-PTMDig You do not need a sideboard for a card's play rate to be affected by matchup. Cards will be mulliganed from and to or sit unplayed in hands depending on matchup.

ah true. tempo rogue is great (and some versions are inexpensive), murloc shaman is good, murloc paladin is fairly inexpensive (if you use a cheap version). those are three decks i've been playing and they work pretty well for comparatively little dust.

Having a lot of fun with youthful brewmaster in this deck. It’s been surprisingly useful and granted me lethal a couple of times when the enemy could only deal with the 8/8, and not the 2/4 too.

Druid has always scared me because the card design team has this fixation on always letting them do both things with their choose one cards. Even cards that wouldn’t be run normally because they’re too slow have been buffed so much by being able to do both. Look at Starfall also just Realized Wardruid Loti

I've played around 2000 hours of Terraria but never gotten that far as I prefer to muck around and build, never heard the moon lord theme but I immediately recognised the Terraria music style and was thinking I was nuts to associate the two. Not just the same genre of music but I mean the composition, pacing, etc compared to the other terraria tracks just fits. Glad I'm not crazy.

I had been using highlander hunter for 2 weeks. I had trouble reaching legend and was up and down around R2 and R1. After removing two slow cards and add houndmaster and desert spear. I just reached legend after 10 games(7-3)

trump I have watched your streams for years and love learning from your very full library of intelligence on the game. I have noticed that as the games have gone on and you've used Zephyrus you have taken his ability as it must be used only if the deck was made with 1 copy of each card. The card can be used with multiples, it only gains it's ability when there are no copies in the deck remaining! The reason it is different than the other no dupes cards is because they typically say at start of the game when you have a full deck to check for doubles.

Trump was actually one of the first this expansion to make use of this, the first highlander hunter deck he made had 2 hyena alpha's. It just ended up being that running even one two of hurt the decks odds too much, so it got cut. Also as a note, none of the highlander effects are start of the game, you might be thinking of the odd/even cards.

I run Shaw and Leeroy. Idk why people are sleeping on those legendaries. Shaw gives you tempo on 4 and massive removal opportunities on 10 with Snip Snap, and combo turns with either hyena variant.

Houndmaster and Shaw, are both underrated, heavily, houndmaster itself was killed due to the fact that master's call drawing 3 cards was broken, and shaw.... well shaw never really took off, in a mode heavy midrange hunter, shaw is actually quite the menace

What important to you? Because you have to know some cards are rotating sooner. If you want to plan for next extensions I would advise siamat over ziliax for example.
