This is one for the record books. I've been coin roll hunting for the last seven years, with a huge focus on half dollars in the last five+. This is my all-time best hunt for finding silver half dollars.
This hunt is a small one from a quantity searched standpoint, only searching $102 in halves. But boy did we walk away with a haul of silver. These halves came from a bank that I am NOT a member of. I made some rounds on my lunch break. I tend to call ahead to multiple banks to see if its worthwhile for me to stop in. This bank I check in every couple of months to see if they have any half dollars and they've always been willing to sell me halves off their coin machine. The bank put these in the envelope at the bank and as soon as they handed to me I heard that classic silver sound. This unmistakable sound was resonating! There were clearly so many in there. 10 seconds later I recorded my initial clip walking out of the bank. And of course I couldn't wait taking a peek!
