That fish at the end '''''REALLY''''' hurt my feelings, It was pulling so HARD especially, with the drag locked down.
I REALY wanted to see what it was. (My Guess would be a grouper or giant jack).
Those hound fish were EVERYWHERE but we still, managed to get a few mackerels (target species for bait) and, a few other species.
Then off to another spot, to use the mackerel for bait.
( I said, put the hook behind the wing lol.
I meant to say put the hook behind the fin.)

Bro! you should look into Hawaiian style shore fishing! 13ft Penn Ulua (GT) rod, paird with a penn senator 4/0 loaded with 80lb mono spliced to 250-300lb mono. Look up slide bait fishing, would work very well at these spots!

Some spectacular fishing from the rocks brother. Tip for cleaner audio look up gopro wind muff and get one of those foam covers will cut most of the wind noise while improving all sounds in general! They’re dirt cheap too! Subscribed!

If you want to catch big fish in that place, you have to use a longer and stiffer fishing rod, PE line, and a larger leader line. And in my opinion, you should not lock the fishing reel. Because when you encounter a big fish, it will probably drag you into the sea. very dangerous

One think i would do is once you get your bait out of the water hook it to your other rod as live bait. You will be amazed!!

If your not cracking bait 50+ yards try using conventional on a longer pole, load it with 80# mono and a 130#+ leader and toss it out, #uluaFishing

Video reminded me of fishing when I was young. The fish weren't as big, the water wasn't salt, but everything else was the same. Fishing stirs up a passion deep inside. Like when your ancestors fished to put food on the table. It's a very serious endeavor!
