When i pray, i focus and i also listen. I drop off my personal internal dialogue and i open myself completely to the Lord. I open my innermost secrets to Him and lay myself bare to my King, i hold nothing back. I have gone to Him sobbing, screaming, begging, calm, while laughing, i try to be as a child would be. Raw and unfiltered with sorrow and joy spilling over and being just excited to talk to Him.

😮 that's me lately!!! In the last 4 years.... 🤦‍♀️ chaos has filled my life in the last 4 years, but focused praying is getting more difficult.... I Pray the same thing every morning. Holy Spirit give to me a scripture. Because if l don't my mind will run wild. And I'll start telling him how to run things and asking Him for what l want. Be still and know I am God He said. Be more ready to hear He said.
