I hosted the most unhinged Armored Core 6 PVP tournament live on this channel and we got to see some weird, interesting and very american builds. In order to enter into this tournament, I gave only one rule everyone had to follow: make an interesting or funny build and just go out there and have some fun. Because this wasn’t just any ordinary PVP tournament. While it is obviously great if you managed to win all of your matches, the true goal of this competition wasn’t to claim the top spot as a PVP god, but rather to entertain people through your AC design, concept, playstyle or whatever else you could come up with. This was essentially a glorified beauty pageant with an added PVP component, so it went pretty much exactly how you would expect.

While I haven't seen the video yet, I will tell you that the participant's views and connections are prioritized over the specator's views and connections. What this means in practice is that it can make shit look invisible or like someone teleported to the spectator whilst the participants don't see or experience anything wrong.

Unfortunately the inverse is occasionally true as well. I’ve saw in spectator mode attacks that absolutely appeared to hit but for the participants it had actually missed completely.

i can't believe i missed this! i've been running a strict pizza themed build using the bad cook, plasma thrower, and chainsaw with a yellow and red mech plastered with pizza decals literally since the game launched. i am so glad something like this happened though, the anti-meta is the most fun way to play lol

I absolutely love this idea and would love to participate the next time this comes around! Literally my favorite thing to do in this game that I have spent like 200 hours or something doing is building jank so I think I have a lot of options to use for this lol

I love the Sans AC. Spamming plasma cannons just fits so well. I´d however say he would be a lightweight since in the game sans does also not have much hp and not much damage but he can rapid fire spam this damage so a lightweight ac with plasma pistols + the plasma turrets he already uses would be just perfect for a themed one. I do understand that people want to win but still.

forget the controls. this handles differently. plays more like a souls game unfortunately. i immediately tried to play like ac4fa, but you get used to it pretty quickly. you also can't dual wield melee weapons like ac4, but its ok. melee weapons have way cooler effects now
