Hey Masa! I wasn’t sure where to comment this, and I hope it won’t be taken the wrong way. I wanted to comment on “The Albo Show” podcast episode (Mission Of The Hunters) when you were talking about the crazy value rise of JDM cars right now and you referenced on Porsche and Ferraris having done it before. This actually started with American muscle cars during the mid-late 90’s. It is the phenomenon of people buying the cars that they wanted when they were kids at any price no matter what! When the children of the 60’s/70’s grew up and became successful, they wanted the GTO, GT500, Cobra, Barracuda, Challenger T/A, etc that they saw when they were kids. They paid hundreds of thousands of USD to get those cars even though several years prior you could get them for very little money. The same thing is happening now with JDM Legends. We who grew up desiring the cars we saw in Best Motoring videos, or Super Street magazine or The Fast and the Furious are now willing to pay whatever it takes to get those cars into our garage. BTW, you’re the best. I REALLY hope you continue to put out more content and hone your videography/editing skills. You have much to offer the KZfaq community and I hope you will seize your opportunity with friends like Albo and Dustin around to help you! 幸運を

I totally don't mind this format! I mean mainly because I speak Japanese, I like to be accommodating for non native English speakers and just go with it. I think you do a great job just translating after your conversation so you don't really need to put subtitles. This bilingual perspective is really different I think, looking forward to more from you man :)

I think it's cool that you can speak fluent English and Japanese. However, when you do some of these conversation pieces, if they are more natural to speak in Japanese, I think you should just converse in Japanese. What's important is letting your subject speak and for you to capture the moment. While you are the director, you have to direct your subjects to let them feel at ease and comfortable unless they truly want to practice their English. If you think they feel more comfortable to converse in Japanese, then you should encourage them to just speak in Japanese so that they can be more at ease. I can't imagine what's it's like to be in front of a camera and be filmed so anything to relax them would help make for better and more interesting content. 🙂 Just my 2 cents. Can't wait to see the next vlog.
