Hello sir வணக்கம், I am a marine engineer, I am your subscriber your videos are more information and very useful. I appreciate your efforts. On ship earthing is different from land earthing. We handle very high voltages so we use insulated neutral system. Where all the motors and generators earthing point is connected. It will all be connected to ships hull. Same as lighting also connected to ships hull. From ships hull through sea water the excess current is nullified. Simple ah sollanumna கப்பல் ஒரு இரும்பு, அது முலமாக earthing ஆகிடும். கரண்ட் எப்பவுமே low resistance path முலமாக செல்லும் அதனால் உள் irru பவர்களுக்கு ஷாக் adikkaathu

இதுபோல ஆறுகளிலும் ஓடைகளிலும் உள்ள நீரோட்டத்தை பயன்படுத்தி hydro turbine parallel connection முறையில் பயன்படுத்தி அதிக மின்சாரத்தை வீட்டின் அருகிலேயே உற்பத்தி செய்ய முடியும், இந்த செயல்முறையை ஒவ்வொரு 10 மீட்டருக்கும் திரும்பத் திரும்ப செய்தால், மேலும் அதிக அளவு மின்சாரம் கிடைக்கும், அதிக வாட்ஸ் கொண்ட DC motor அல்லது AC alternator களை பயன்படுத்தலாம்.

Hi sir good information, thank you for sharing. Note:- Check once the connection between 50mm copper wire and copper rod, I noticed that they give connection with aluminium leg, and bolts and nuts also please check. Please suggest if they used right material for connection between wire and copper rod.

Sir, please note in India as per NBC-2016 ( National building code ) Lightning protection system like ESE air terminal are banned because it's not scientifically proven to provide protection for radius of 50 meters or more .Also there is no backup from IEC - 62305 standards for ESE Air terminal.

True. It's better to go ahead as per IS code. There's a lot of controversy with ESE, cable down conductor and copper bonded earth rod (linked with cost). If you really care, do as per norms irrespective of the cost.

This is Government duty to install lightening arresters... So that it can be a tallest pole or tower... All telecom towers and tallest points will have lightening arresters it's mandatory... Instead installing in 1+1 stored house is like velilapora oonana thooki vettila vitta kadha... Again I'm saying we are not intellectual than Nature... Lightening is not joke it's millions of volts...

In ESE if spring washer is used before nut it will prevent wind vibration and prevent ESE from loosening. And in aircraft static wicks are used to discharge lightning and static energy produced due to air friction
