I save the ends of zip ties, great for repairing plastic or sealing electric wires. Also save all metal, never know when you need it or take it in to recycling and make a few $$. I put some LEDs on my mower but put them on the side of the hood. I made my own wires. Much easier. A cheap V gauge is nice too. You could mount an alternator under the mower and a belt off the old pulley. Dad could hook ya up with a GM one wire.

I know it's annoying to use bbbbuuuttttt you'll have ALOT more control of it!!! Also try to be on your feet because your alot more stable and can jump outta the way if you lose control!!! I watch your channel and your dad's love the light bar ,. I was watching your dad's channel and he was working on the 1935 ford and I could hear you working on the racing mower in the background. I recognized the sound of you hammering out the dents in the front . Your idea about an alternator is a good idea if you can find something cheap for a small car it might work but you're going to need to be able to turn it off and on so it won't take horses away when you need it.
