I picked up my Norwesco 1500 gal tank a few months ago and I felt it was time to get it in. I used the laser level over and over to insure I would hit grade before setting the tank. The install itself went very well. The Norwesco tank is very well built and should last a very long time. Next I will install the leach field and lay the perforated pipe.

Did you consider shoring up the walls when you where in? Trench rescue is usually just a body recovery. Especially using that Tamper. The fire department I work for specializes in “Trench Rescue”. Is the only reason I think about every time I see anyone working in a trench.

I am really glad you're doing this video. I want to put a 3/4 bath in the shop I am building in Louisiana and I am way too far away from my MODAD to discharge into that. So that leaves me with, possibly 2 options, put in another MODAD or (if the state allows) put in a tank like this. I'll have to do some research. Love what you're doing with the channel.

Good job ,Just a thought when you dig a pit dig the outsides first then dig the middle last that way you get a nice square sided pit because the backhoe arm will always go where the less resistance is .Thank you and Take Care.

for those of you that haven't used the stomper, rammer, jumping jack, compactor... there are three things to make compacting with it easy... 1) make sure you have adicate water in the dirt (that a hand full and squeeze.. it should stay balled up but no water running out). (dry dirt doesn't compact adequately) 2) after you have everything leveled... walk on the dirt.. all of it.. this brings the beginning of compaction up. and stops the machine from burying it self... 3) don't be afraid of the machine... turn the throttle wide open... that's where the machine runs the best... anything less and the machine jumps crazy... when the machine is running good.. i can run it with as little as three fingers.... ******* if at full throttle the machine acts up... it might need a tune up.. or have a dirty air cleaner....

I look forward to your videos, great job. Making progress now. Did you ever think about trucking your water in and put it in large tanks inside that tire room you are building in side of hill. You can get by a couple of years until you dig your well. Some people truck their water in permanently. Gravity works and maybe a pump to boost pressure for showers. Allot of work running all that pipe. And adding a holding tank. Trucking water is fairly cheap. You could even buy your own tank to put in back of your trick to haul your own water. Once a month is all you need if not even less. Just an idea. Sometimes the most practical is simple. Good Luck, really liking what you're doing. 👍👍 Vinny 🇺🇸

How do you bore the hole for the sewer line from the house to the tank?...do you go thru the foundation or underneath it?

Pro Tip*: use a grizzly to screen the soil you're excavating so that when you back-fill the tank you can keep big rocks out. * I'm not actually a professional tank installer, but I've seen it happen that someone placed the tank then started back-filling and a large rock struck the tank and punched a big hole in it. The tank had to be removed and a new one placed.

Would you by chance have a link to the inlet/outlet tee/seals - Homedepot shows them but doesn't offer them, Norwesco doesn't show them. We bought our tank at Homedeopt. Saved the Norwesco $500 shiping fee but don't seem to carry any of the extra pieces.

I know this is going to sound like a crazy question but how does this not fill up over time do you have to put some type of agent in there to break down the material that goes inside of that septic system or if everytime it gets cool are you supposed to pay someone to come and empty it

@RedPoppyRanch
@RedPoppyRanch 7 жыл бұрын
Certain states require certain approval ratings on tanks. A tank must be approved in your county depending on what your county requires. Just ask the manufacturer if they make a tank that works where you are. That's what I did.
