One has to consider though, that a lot of the Indian chess prodigies only have an absolute basic school education. As far as I know they basically quit school after around elementary school, thus having endless time to study chess afterwards. This is not comparable to the situation in western countries where chess players often finish high school at age 18.

Because it’s the best players in the world and the margins are razor thin. Man, these interviews are just freaking amazing. Levy has done his homework on each player, and has prepared personalised questions based on it. Hi Gotham, great interview, just had one bit of feedback for you if you want it. Sometimes you ask a question then ask another straightaway afterwards. It gets quite complicated for the interviewee and for viewers too. My advice would be to stick to your guns and trust the one you have asked is good because they are :)

It's quite apparent to me that Gukesh mental game is his biggest strength. Given, that many people are better at hiding their nerves, but Gukesh comes across as someone who doesn't get too excited or down, just a warrior spirit with a high level of self awareness. It will make him tough to beat when his skill gets even better.
