A big suggestion 4 these interviews is showing snippets of Tekken 8 gameplay (muted) related to topic especially when talking about specific matches i know that requires alot more effort but it'll add lot more flavor

for example when you are asking joka about his favorite baaz gauntlet matches showing those matches onscreen briefly would go a very long way otherwise i love that you are highlighting tekken pros to gerenally more casual audience you built!

I got to met Joka at Baaz and he’s such nice person to be around with. He got great voice; he talks great and he is very humble.

Half of my fav moments from this most recent tourney was from Joka's matches, the man needs to stay on the scene if it's paying the bills and providing him happiness. Joka if you're reading this - as a fellow software graduate now working in the industry, that'll always be waiting for you later on; enjoy the opportunity you got right now to do what you love for as long as you can.

I saw Joka at Rev Major last year and from 1pm till the end of the event he just sat in one spot doing nothing but casuals with everyone. Mad respect, I don't even have that much energy to grind and play for that long lol.

Pre-CEO Joka's stream was the best place to be. The stream really took off and was an extremely fun place to be in the week leading up to CEO. I've never seen a highly competitive and elite professional player laugh as much as Joka whilst simultaneously destroying everyone in ranked matches as I did that week. His stream is absolutely on the way up and I can't recommend checking him out enough. The most likeable pro player around.

This is how should every interview in everything looked like. Not only esport but real sports, actors, movie Directors, company owners etc. It gives me an idea what i should try to do like play with different characters to understand their game plans etc. I hope phidx has plan to interview more players

These interviews are really heartwarming it’s like you get to see a different side of competitor when they aren’t stressed to fight in tournament. I’m really enjoy this style of content

Felt like they made it clear they were patching so much just because the game didn't get its usual arcade run and they apparently rely a lot on that outside of their in-house balancing. I don't imagine it being this frequent in any other given year, but since that doesn't seem to be commonly assumed, I hope that's the case. But speaking of how JoKa noted spacing as a clear skill indicator, I do hope over time that they improve proximity BDC to make that a little more apparent. Nice interview!

It also hasn’t been that frequent? We’ve had 2 patches in 6 months and they’ve said no more large updates for the rest of the season. I understand why pro’s would be concerned about over-patching but it was never happening.

BTW. I've heard already 3x that the best playing 5hrs per day. If you can ask another player next time how do they reconcile competitive play with sub-hobbies, work, family, girlfriend, and what are their sub-hobbies, favourite single player games, why they picked esports carrer instead gamedev and something about breaks from playing competitive how they look like etc Also if anyone can answer here in the comments be my guest. Bro first of all Joka has Pakistan blood. And second when he won Tekken 8 was most unoptimized game. Since the game is balanced both of major tournaments are won by Pakistan. So Yeah 🤪
