Running the same 75hp and a mild TCM tune on my daily 17 F350...using archoil fuel additive, prior was HSS EDT and LX4 at each fillup. Thanks for the content..

I’ve been running a 230hp tune from amdp for over a year/15k miles on my 2015. And love how it runs. I’ve towed with it throughout the Rocky Mountains regularly and egts run cooler than stock power actually. Fuel system still intact even after almost gelling up. But I do run a fuel additive and very rarely put it all the way to the floor. If you have good discipline, you will be perfectly fine with a higher horse tune. I wouldn’t go over 230hp though.

I’ve been running a 100 hp on my 19 f350 for a year and it runs and shifts great. I pull heavy pretty often and temps stay very normal. I prob wouldn’t run 200 or anything all the time but 100 or so shouldn’t be a problem

Amdp is the best ones for the 6.7, custom tunes are the best. Nothing else.

How much was your EZLynk tuner? I’m debating between MiniMax or EZlynk you said minimax was trash but it’s cheaper

Whatever you do do NOT get the minimax i had it on my 6.7 years ago and the tunes were 🚮 and i blew a turbo from it

Are you wanting just the tuning device or the device with a tune package? You can pick up the new EZ Lynk 3.0 device for about $550 or the 2.0 version for $500. I would recommend EZ Lynk because of how easy it is to use and because you can do so much with it, like data log your truck to send to a mechanic or your tuner to figure out what’s going on if there’s a problem.

it's totally worth the extra money for ez lynk. minimax tunes are garbage compared to tunes like ampd

I noticed the top comment said ampd tunes outshine the other and that custom tunes are good and nothing else. Is that what they’re referring to? Taking it someplace and not doing it yourself?

GYS Tuning is best of the best. I guarantee that if you purchase those tunes you will never use another companies tunes for the duration of owing your 6.7

I found mine in Arkansas, 1 owner with 190k miles. RUST FREE! Only bad thing is it ain’t 4x4 but I’m not gonna go off the road in a 7300 LB truck.. check Arkansas you might find something

@@nickroehm1534 yeah! don’t be afraid of mileage, I was scared at first but this truck drives better than some 95k mile all original 7.3s (only thing wrong with my truck is a dent in the bed above the exhaust lol)
