I Investigated The Opposition's Protest Against Suspension of MPs | Jantantra Episode 3

As you might know (Sabko Pata Nahi Hota Laxman!), 146 MPs were suspended from both Houses of Parliament over the past week for demanding a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah about a security breach that happened on December 13 when two intruders stormed the chamber by jumping from the visitors' gallery and releasing yellow smoke canisters.
These suspended MPs belong to opposition parties, which have formed an alliance, I.N.D.I.A, to take on the BJP in the 2024 General Elections. So opposition parties decided to protest against the suspension of MPs and we decided to attend the protest. Hence the video and the description (Koi padhta hai kya ye?...comments me batao).
So, experience what we experienced at the "Save Democracy" protest (or should I say Congress rally) at Jantar Mantar. Yo!

a few points that i'd like to talk about - 1) the protest or rally or whatever you want to call it seems to be lacking robust planning 2) the absence of AAP raises a lot of questions on the legitimacy and cohesiveness of the INDIA alliance 3) a lot of the people in the protest are either unable to properly express themselves on the mic or lack valid points to put forward * this is a very serious issue that should be raised properly with the protestors having a proper plan in mind and being aware of the technicalities of the issue

The absurdity of the suspension of majority of the opposition from the parliament is clearly visible and felt but the anger against it is not. It feels like rallies and marches have not only failed to get the attention the issue deserve but also failed to express the anger, the hopelessness and/or the absurdity people feel and are experiencing. We really need more disobedience, both civil and uncivil today.

Brother if Modi can be a PM then I believe anybody can be a PM. I am not a Congress supporter or RG fan. Most of your points are correct and the government should take responsibility but your take on GDP per capita is absolute bs, per capita increases as the GDP of a country grows(or if the population decreases), so in this case the current government has done a pretty good job as compared to the previous governments, Indian economy is one the fastest growing major economy in the world rn but yeah in the other sections like COVID management, press freedom and religious harmony, this government has not been able to perform well, and it should be criticised.

On a very conservative estimate, upwards of 25 lakh Indian citizens are represented by each Lok Sabha MP on an average. 146 MPs mean 36.5 crore, and then during their absence the most important bills governing everyday lives of people are passed with hardly any discussions. Mind boggling. Doesn't matter who you support. But then most citizens don't think it's a big deal....
