That sort of damage at 9:03 is where we get the term "chunky salsa." It's essentially when you take so much damage that there's absolutely no way to mitigate or avoid it; you are so dead you are unrevivable, unressurectable, unrecoverable. The damage is so immense that you cannot and will not survive. That man in front of the cannon was turned into, quite literally, chunky salsa.
