This game is my childhood. Damn. Miss those days without responsibility and just play games. This video hit different. I remember my last game too. See it on steam and try to mess around. See if there's actually players playing. This game is pay to win, i remember always saving up money from my allowance and not eat in school just to keep a competitive gameplay. There's no rank like todays were in valorant competitive match up is base on ranked system. Back in the days warrock competitive match is clan war. I got so frustrated when my clan buddies didn't have much top tier items on.

I played this game when it was still "in Beta" back in like 2006 and would log in every few months and play a fair amount because the game said it would delete your account if it stayed inactive too long (guess that was a lie or changed because I logged in after a 2 year absence and nothing happened). This game actually had potential. Maybe you could say the game was trying to be Counterstrike and Battlefield at the same time, or that it was obscene levels of pay to win, or that it was all around coded horribly, or that it was full of hackers, but that gameplay once you're past all of that was fun. There's an extremely low number of shooters out there that merely even allow you to roll, and most that do are more projectile-based "boomer shooters" that aren't based in a bunch of real-world weaponry. I remember eventually logging in to find the appearance of all of the classes changed, and there were now seemingly options to customize appearance that would also affect stats if I'm remembering right, and I kind of realized the way they were innovating was less focused on making the game more playable or trying to balance things, but more on adding new layers to how pay to win it could be (but also adding new variety of gameplay). While I want to say Nexon did some of these business practices first and perhaps was even the most egregious offender with this sort of thing, so many developers are kind of doing the same thing now it doesn't even feel like an angle to criticize the game much anymore. As for this game being extremely old with few updates to the appearance of anything over its life-cycle, and other signs of age in its many bugs, seeing PUBG (with many people liking the mechanics of its gameplay) was ever the most popular multiplayer game kind of gives me validation about how I think the core of this game at least was something special. As easy as it is to rag on all of the issues PUBG has, this game pretty much has all of the same issues, but also almost all of the same positives and then some.

Back in the old days you could literally go into the game files and switch the names of the map folders and when you’d load into “map x” everyone else would (correctly) be loaded into “map y”. So you could like climb on top of a building and be shooting from, in the enemy’s perspective, mid air. Had so much fun doing that and also glitching under maps and boxes and stuff in junior high circa 2007-2009ish time. Loved this game. Thanks for posting

I played this game way back in 201p or 2011 I think and I saw it on steam and had to look up if this game was worth a revisit to just mess around with. It still has the same graphics lol... but I missed those gun sounds, the mp7 and Famas had the most intimidating sounds and you always knew when someone had one out lol. Love the nostalgia watching this video!

Este juego, literalmente salvo mi vida, no estoy exagerando, sin entrar en detalles innecesarios, desde los 13 hasta los 16 o 17, hizo mi vida soportable, sin él no estaría hoy aquí escribiendo, mis únicos amigos fueron aquí, el único sitio donde era feliz fue aquí, lo único por lo que tenia ilusión era por esto, hoy en día soy un adulto de 31 años con una vida normal que no juega ya ni a los videojuegos, pero siempre hasta el día que muera, recordare esa etapa de mi vida en la prácticamente vivía en marien jeje, o la ilusión que me hacía los eventos de Halloween o navidad, muy muy buenos recuerdos , de vez en cuanto me vienen a la mente y me gusta revivirlo aunque sea por unos minutos y por un vídeo
