It’s basically like guarding a comp player with no meter who doesn’t miss. But most of them are terrible iq wise and don’t even know how to get open. It’s turning out that it’s still harder to guard comp players than cheaters who just sit in the corner and don’t miss if you help.

This works by video capturing. You need a separate graphics card that can process about 12 frames per second. They localize the shot meter and when it’s fully covered, they will trigger the release. And no, this will not be caught as this process only happens outside of the console. Unless 2k have controller detection, it will not be caught cheating; but it’s unlikely. In theory, To use it without the meter, they need to train a neural network to learn the release and it’s corresponding timing. It is very hard. The release hand localization is easy but there are so many releases in the game, therefore it’s very unlikely to train a model that generalizes to all releases and we can’t guarantee there’s no false positives. I will answer any questions if you are interested.
