Hi guys
This last weekend we visited the South Indian Chettinad restaurant at kalyan nagar and it was really shock the taste and the combos are a must try for all those missing there home style food.
They have launched their first restaurant in Denmark and since then they have had many branches around the world and this is there second branch in India.
Hope you can give them a try
This restaurant was founded in 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark, The South Indian , is the first Scandinavian restaurant that specializes in the Chettinad food tradition of India. It is not only an established culinary brand with multiple restaurants but is also renowned for its robust flavors brought alive in simple elegance. It is the admiration of its patrons that made The South Indian spread its wings and open its flagship restaurants in Malmo, Sweden in 2018 followed by Stockholm, Sweden in 2019, Helsinki, Finland and Oslo, Norway in 2020. Our endeavor is rooted in the following values.

We are a group of fun loving people who love to travel for food. We are basically from Bangalore in Karnataka and my native is Chennai in Tamil Nadu. We mostly keep travelling and explore the best restaurants and the best nonveg hotels around Bangalore and Chennai in Tamil Nadu.

Go to the hotel u have to wait at least 30 minutes to get a seat and after that u have to wait for 1hour to get the food served

Sorry for the inconvenience... Actually it was overwhelming response beyond our thought for which unfortunately we were not prepared as this is the very new outlet.... now we have fixed this issue ... hope we will anymore such experiences in our place....

Never just go blindly based on these reviews. In my opinion, this was an Average experience. The kebabs were hard, not crispy but hard and not soft and juicy. Biriyani was good, pepper chicken was alright. Make sure you be there by 7 or 8. We were there by 9.15 and they ran out of food by 10pm which was disappointing. Lime soda was warm, that's surprising. Rather prefer the Zamindars placed just above them. Definitely better in terms of Taste, quality, service and they understand what customer satisfaction truly is.

Today we went to the South Indian restaurant after your review, we were totally disappointed, non veg meals what we tried was not at all good, only the chicken gravy was good other things which was served was not good. Guys compared to this restaurant Zamindar restaurant is far better. This is my honest review

One of the worst food experiences, it was all frozen food, the white rice and of very low quality. The pierces of chicken they have had skin it. Never ever go if you want to save your time and money.
